I Want To Create A Catholic Altar In My Home?

I have a 3-tier shelf (it has open shelves) I am using this as my altar, for now, the lower shelves are for my prayer books, Bibles, etc. I have a statue of Our Lady of Grace in the center and a crucifix in the center of the wall. Could I add other statues of Jesus, Mary, angels and various saints, but do not know how they should be organized. I've looked at other sites that say to make the altar and the altar in the church of Mary to the left St. Joseph on the right, and Jesus in the center (usually this is a tabernacle). Can you be creative with my altar, leaving Mary in the center, and I have another altar? Catholics who still have altars in their homes please reply. Thank you.

I have two Catholic altar / shrine at home (one up, one down), which my mom fixed. Is the Infant Jesus of Prague, in the center of both a slightly lower figure of Mary on one side of him, and St. Joseph on the other, and some small figures of saints that surround them. You can reorganize your altar / shrine of the way you want. Personally, I like the way my mother rearranged: large statue in the center and smaller statues that surround it. We also have flowers on our altars, candles and other lights in the shape of flowers, etc.

Since you have a crucifix in the middle I guess it's good that the mother of Mary in the center. can be as creative as you want, as long as you use the altar for their prayers spiritual and not only keep it there as a decoration. You can have 2 shrines. I have a main altar and one in the room of my son as he loves St. Francis of Assisi, he created his own altar with a statue of St. Francis and a crucifix on top,
Mary, the mother and an angel next to St. Francis.

Make your prayer corner anyway you wish. I would also add a bowl (if you do not have pets) to keep the holy water. you can have as many places of worship at home as you wish.

I think we'll end up with a sanctuary Santaria by accident and then you will have all kinds of problems.
