Jesus, Mary Magdalene, Sara, The Da Vinci Code!?
OK … help a confused girl out! Not exactly a sign was raised Catholic or anything and probably the fact that my parents kept in the fight against the church that would: Catholic (my father) or some sort of a Protestant church (my mom). Having never been agreed, I never just go to church. I know about God and Jesus and stuff, but lately hearing about the Big Bang and evolution and now this stupid Da Vinci Code movie has made me kind of atheist. I do not want to believe anything he can not see. Can anyone give me some information to help me clear my mind and find some answers???

I am familiar with Dan Brown and Gnostic writings constantly changing the wording to suit their beliefs. I am a Christian, but I think there are errors in the Bible, and I'm very anti-church. I have read and own many old Bibles and scriptures. Many of the writings are such things as lost books and books Gnostics. I seek the truth and not a religion or belief system, and assure you that the DaVinci Code do not file your honest opinion.

There was no secret society, which proved false in court, the book, now the movie has a lot of issues copyrigth inclusion of a word or word stems from several novels.
So if you want to believe in a film, see Star Wars, a film itis much better and is much more force Believe that The Da Vinci Code because it is easy to prove it false.

I bought it for me and 4 friends. They bought popcorn and soda. I was the only one who read the first book. It was so good I had to watch the film. I was not disappointed. Everyone loved the film.
The film was very close to the book, but reading the first book is a good idea, because it is a mystery complicated and requires some thinking.
I would say that professional film critics did not like it was a brain, an intellectual film compared with a slam-bang, shoot 'em up, fireworks and explosions, SFX type movie. It is a WOW! Look at that! type of film, but it's definitely a WOW!
The dialogue finally stabs the right of the Catholic Church between the eyes and this is another reason why many people have a problem with it.
Enjoy mystery, game, plot and stunning surprises, one after another. I would definitely pay to see again, but only for the purpose of entertaining a friend who has not seen.
The Da Vinci Code was the best novel I've read. I liked the fact that it says that there was a vow to Jesus (peace be upon him) Divine. The adventure of the story is too large, that's all you need to know.

I am a very scientific. I have a Bachelor of Science, which means that I have focused on science such as biology, chemistry and physics. And yet, I believe in one God in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I could not have said that years ago, but prayer has helped me a lot. I would recommend you pray for everything and find a spiritual leader as a pastor, to sit and talk. There are too many negative things in this world, and everyone wants to do your thinking for you.

The Da Vinci Code is a work of fiction. Nothing more. None or statements made in the "facts" in the leaf is not true. Everything said in this book about Jesus having a child or anything like that is totally fictitious and not to be believed.

When Jesus was on earth most people on earth never saw or new era, even here. There were also years wasn't that documented his own life. It is hardly that our God came to earth and just be ignored. Like all religions are stories that try to resolve how it occurred, but the truth is I really do not know who or what we did. When and if our God every time it shows that everyone will know hes here and then all religions made by man finally leaving.

Forgetting the Da Vinci Code, I read it was a great story, but there were several factors, said to be unreliable. I have read that there is no solid evidence of a human named Jesus, so I doubt there was any solid evidence that he was married. However, you can not prove a negative. I suggest reading some of the 'solved' questions and see if that leads to reliable conclusions. I have seen some very educated responses, with good resources listed
I maybe in the same way as they are, but looking a little bit about Da Vinci, was a good painter, most never finished any of his paintings, including the Mona Lissa, who had to defend himself because he lived in wartime , and was very knowledgeable in this time on War Armor, however some of his ideas (not all) were used, it is silly that some alleged observations Davinci as a function or rule, and everything you see in the film based on a novel, a book he wrote a few years ago, with information from 500 years ago. Given that the books used in the Bible was written in the first century BC. The Da Vinci Code is not very accurate. Dan Brown says that some things not exactly true. I really do not mind if you go to a Catholic church or a church protestent. Learning that is quite the same. No. Jesus never married, not Jesus never had a daughter named Sara. Sarah was the mother of Isaac. If you read the Bible, he would realize this, not in the Bible says that Jesus married and fathered a child.

Hello, I was raised as a Catholic and I donno strong How old are you? but I tell you something, although parents can pose as a Catholic and had resived all the sacraments, communion and u know that, because of my own I do not believe that the practice of my religion, it doesn't mean that unless I belive in God, …., simply means that I have my own beliefs of another religion, so im not going to be a hypocrite and go to church and pray or practice my religion …. countiosly So doesn't matter what they say or rumors going around jeasus longer marry Magdalene married or not is irrelevant that time had a child is irrelevant. The only thing u need to know and only belive what u think is right in his heart, and that is the only sense that matters is yours and yours alone, and nobody can say weather or is right or wrong, is what is in your heart and feel or weather is good and that u belive in it and will be fine. and in time and with growth will come wisdom and clarity with those so dont worry, it will be clear to you, at some point or another, or when ur ready for it and prepare ur so just be patient with yourself everything sill eat alone. The Big Bang and evolution are theories and theories change over time. The latest, called "string theory" is the closest to spiritual ideas that are common to more mystical levels of all religions. These higher levels of religions are not "facts", but is fulfilled in the deepest level of our mind. Poetic, symbolic, mythological, of metaphorical truth is more "real" so-called facts. Read psychologist, C.G. Jung and others.
As a former agnostic / atheist Christian now I can understand your confusion and refuse to believe anything that you can not see. I was the same way. But I can promise you, they have to prove their intellect at the door to be a follower of Christ believe. God can reveal Himself to you if you look for him. Some recommended reading would be "A Case for Faith" and / or "A Case for Christ". There are many books that respond to the DaVinci Code (fiction) with the actual facts. You may want to look into it. I think that spending time trying to answer the questions "Is there really a God?" "Who is he" and "What has to do with me?" Is time well spent. So I would say that is on the right track, keep asking questions. And you can always turn to God and ask him to show himself to you. But what I learned about God is that he cares about our heart and our motives, so if you do not ask sincerely hoping and expecting an answer, can not respond immediately:) Anyway, life and faith are a journey. And when / if you find your path to union with God, to know the journey has just begun:)
