Once again: Did Mary ever virgin your whole life?

be flamed for the first time, so here it is again:
If I were Joseph I would not have "taken" from it. Want some?
And indeed, this kind of what you've asked the question is used in philosophy. Then, through the heart of a person interested in the good of many, can see the truth.
  I am Catholic.
Did you know that the original language of the books of the Bible where it mentions that Jesus has brothers and sisters that the word "cousin" was not in use?
And often all that followed were admitted to his family as brothers and sisters.
Moreover, the word "until" we read in the English version of the Bible is the same conotation in their original language. ( "Until she gave birth" or something like that is used to prove that they had children w / Joseph)
Why should I point out again that many scholars believe that James was a cousin.
The Bible is explicit when concieved never had "met" a man.
Joseph may have thought it over anothers wife.

Mary remained a virgin throughout her life. Joseph never copulated with her and she lived much like a nun does. After all, if I was married to a woman who had been born the son of God, the awaited Messiah, I would not make love to her, because I could never live up to God. You can not have sex when you're married or for life. We are a society geared toward sex and since many of us can not, we think no one can.

Please read the following scripture: Matthew 13:55-56 "Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary and his brothers James, Joses, Simon and Judas? 56 "And his sisters are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things? "57 And they took offense at him. But Jesus said: "A prophet is not without honor except in his hometown, and in his own house." Jesus was the first to be born This is not the only child born to Mary and Joseph.

Good for you to explain your car once more for those who just arrived in your question the first time. I noticed after the first time.
Oh, and to answer your question again, yes, I think it was. Joseph was not like all other men. I think he has that Mary was special. They also had God on their side, and "with God all things are possible" (the Bible)
      Merry Christmas!

Mary and Joseph had more children. Look at the gospels in the Bible, read … no she was not a virgin all her life.

  5. Mandolyn Monkey Munch says:

The Bible does not give an exact figure, but the brothers of Jesus are mentioned in several verses of the Bible. Matthew 12:46, Luke 8:19 and Mark 3:31 say that Jesus' mother and brothers came to see. The Bible tells us that Jesus had four brothers: James, Joses, Simon and Judas (Matthew 13:55). The Bible also tells us that Jesus had sisters, but not the name or number (Matthew 13:55-56). In John 7:1-10, brothers, go to the festival while Jesus stays behind. In Acts 1:14, his brothers and his mother are described as praying. Later, in Galatians 1:19, it mentions that James was the brother of Jesus. The most natural conclusion of these passages is the interpretation that Jesus had brothers of royal blood.
There is no biblical reason to believe that these brothers are not the real children of Mary and Joseph. The Bible does not even hint that Joseph was married or had children before he married Mary. The brothers of Jesus were obviously born after Jesus because Jesus was born of a virgin (Isaiah 7:14, Luke 1:26-38). Opponents of the idea that Jesus had half brothers and half sisters do not, from reading Scripture, but of a preconceived idea of the perpetual virginity of Mary, which itself is clearly anti-biblical, "But he (Joseph) had no union with her (Mary) until she gave birth to a son. And he gave the name of Jesus "(Matthew 1:25).

Duh! who requested quotes the Bible? If you choose to believe that a woman can have a child without losing their virginity, then you are one of the ignorant masses that the Roman Catholic Church loves.

  7. harmony moon says:

Jesus had brothers, so obviously Mary was not a virgin throughout her life.

  8. Sofa P says:

The Catholic Church says yes, but the Bible seems to say no. Furthermore, the Bible clearly says that Jesus had brothers and sisters … born of a virgin, too? Apparently not.

24 When Joseph woke up, did as the angel of the Lord commanded and took Mary as his wife. 25 But he did not have sexual relations with her until her son was born. And Joseph named him Jesus.

No virging Mary was not a lifetime.

  12. Nicholas H says:

N was not a virgin throughout her life, Jesus had brothers and sisters, I'm sorry that the Catholic cult of Mary instead of Jesus, but you need to read the word of God and not put their faith in a system that has Potatoes and other holy priest much higher than Jesus, only Jesus died for your sins is Blessed among women, but by no means is the Queen of Heaven

  13. Terry S says:

= Virgin birth of religious metaphor commonly used to symbolize the experience of enlightenment. It has nothing to do with mothers or Mary. It is used to describe the experience of enlightenment of both Jesus and Buddha.

  14. metazone says:

No primary and joeph had desendants

  15. Manie says:

Mary had at least 6 other children after the birth of Jesus. 4 sons and 2 daughters, at least, please see Matthew 13: 55,56

  16. linniepo says:

If reading the Bible, you do not realize is written mostly parrables, or that was collected by the Catholic Church, which was more interested in creating a situation that could thrive, then, in my opinion, missed the boat. Simply believe in God with all your heart and stop waisting their time questioning. Do some research and find for himself that there was more than 4 gospels written, what about the Dead Sea Scrolls? Why then did not use … Hmmmmm, maybe they opposed the direction that the Church wanted the religion to go? The bottom line is … They believe in God or not. His soul in the final will be by the mercy of God knows the truth.

I think the question that arises from your explanation is really "what if Maria" knew "a man after Jesus was born?"
Note that the Bible is (as you said), more indecisive on the issue. Using the evidence given in the New Testament, one can not prove conclusively one way or another. But suppose he had other children? "This removes the miracle of the virgin birth? I think not. The miracle would still be a miracle. What is she not? Sex is a sin? In wedlock. So ….
Once Jesus was born, there is little information about Mary. The central figure of the New Testament is, after all, Jesus. Its authenticity, as the Savior of mankind is affected by the actions of Mary after his birth, even if they were sinners (who were not). So if Jesus had cousins or brothers and sisters, we are still saved. (and that's the really important issue)

  18. presiden says:

    That's really un-knowable

  19. Charlie Bucket says:

Whatever the connotation 'until' he had in the original language, I think it would have just said "never" if that had been the case. Regardless, speculating about Joseph and Mary, sex is totally inadequate and worthless. I do not care if they did or not! I do not believe that Mary, without sin, because the Bible says 'no one' is not "a single exception of Mary."

  20. Free Ranger says:

Again, it is said that nowhere in the Bible who never had other children, anywhere.
I just became Catholic last year after 20 years of study, she remained a virgin after the birth of Christ, who was born without sin.
Oh, and Jesus had children, either now that the fiction of the film was even said that was!
Do some research on Fatima and Guadalupe, is very interesting!
      Peace and God bless!
FYI, Catholics do not worship Mary, or to the Pope or the priest over Jesus, if you're going to insult your faith, at least know what we're talking about first!

    Did not love her

  22. fireball says:

Who knows? I'm Catholic, and we also know that this is done: The Bible (and many versions) were written by men, not God or Jesus, but are stories that have been written and rewritten so many times it is difficult to say what is real and what is convenient for some people who believe …

  23. sweet ivy lyn says:

I think Joseph did after giving birth because he was a man with natural desires. That's not to say that I think less of him, or that I think was wrong. But I am sure that when he became boyfriend of Mary, was attracted to her in many ways, and was glad that her husband would someday, and be able to do all the things that go along with it. I would say, assuming that Mary remained a virgin throughout her life, she would have been betrothed to Joseph. It would have been much easier for her and for all, if I had a man in her life, because, let's be realistic, many people at that time also suspect that you have been sleeping around, or that she and Joseph had precipitated their relationship, and Mary was pregnant with Joseph. What I think the thought of Jose Maria was a woman who loved the Lord and received the blessing of taking your child. I do not think Joseph just left her after the birth of Jesus. Had the right to take his wife, and I think he did. (Thanks for clarifying your question. The first was confused …)

  24. jenn w says:

Again, it was not. The Catholic Church tells everyone that it was only Mary and Joseph were Jews and that was her mission given by God to bear children.

  25. Stephen says:

Did you also know that the word virgin has not been used in the original writings. Virgin was translated from a word (Almah) thats true meaning was - the young to give birth.
It was believed that it was actually raped by a soldier at a young age and it was thought that young people would have a child.

  26. grudgrim says:

    No, only for Jesus
Matthew 1:25 And knew her not till she brought forth her firstborn son and called his name JESUS.
      see the word until
Matthew 13:55 Is not this the carpenter's son? not his mother called Mary? And his brothers James and Joseph and Simon and Judas?
brothers James and Joseph and Simon and Judas
      Sisters (next verse)
Matthew 13:56 And his sisters are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?
if truth was ever virgin Mary, why not revernce Joseph, because if she was a virgin and he. but Matthew says Mary had children

  27. readthek says:

Why should point out again? nobody is asking for things that state are his views of the Bible can not be taken literally all the time. When they talk about the virginity of Mary they are talking with her at the moment of conception … not 10 years down the road .. Why bother you so much .. maybe you should go to seminary school and ease their doubts.
