The common ground for all of us is faith in Jesus Christ. That Jesus is the Son of God, died for our sins, rose again the third day and if we trust in Jesus for forgiveness of our sins, we go to heaven. In the Gospel of John, Jesus told Nicodemus that a person had to go to heaven …… Please read the Gospel of John Chapter 3 verses 1 to 21 ..
With that I say that I think someday when we get to heaven, there will be some Catholics, Lutherans and Protestants are not … However, there will be something of each of these groups will end in hell …. Jesus told Nicodemus that "you must be born again "……. Jesus told us that for us to enter the kingdom of heaven that "Ye must be born again" … Any person of the Catholic faith that someday will be in heaven will have met these criteria that Jesus said that everyone had to go …. which in turn was "born again "…. What is important is that this is Jesus' own words to us what we must hear ….. Please read the book of John to seek the answer as to if you personally have been born again …. This leads me to answer your question specifically.
Some orthodox Catholics believe that only Catholics will be in heaven someday and that "membership of the Catholic Church" says that people go to heaven …. Some very conservative Protestant groups believe that as Catholics place a high emphasis on Mary and the priests and the good works that Catholics do not go to heaven …. Not all Catholics are so rigid in their thinking as to say "no" Protestant "(including non-Lutherans) will go to heaven … Moreover, not all Protestants are so rigid in their thinking by saying that "Catholics" will be in heaven … The answer is very simple … Who goes to heaven is not a decision taken by the Catholic Church, Protestant or Lutheran faith, but by a single person who is Jesus Christ ….. Jesus said "Ye must be born again" … There are many Protestants and Catholics and Lutherans are not yet "born again "……. I think the confirmation process can take many people to have a "saving faith" that allows one to become "born again" and so be on your way to heaven …. But unless a person really loves Jesus and has a "change of heart felt repentance and realizes he is a sinner and trust Jesus as their savior, as the only way to go to heaven", then there are "born again … . So just because you finish the process of "confirmation" is not a guarantee of going to heaven … Just because I'ma member of a Protestant or Lutheran or a member of the Catholic Church means that I am "born again" …
Think about your personal experience and I am sure this will make sense to you …. As a Catholic and grow many Catholics probably have met with many personalities …. I'm sure you know many Catholics who are "born again". Someone who is "born again" will attempt to reflect the love of Christ to others .. What I mean is that these people have a good and loving heart …. They show respect for others and love … They are "patience", which means they are patient with others …. The Bible says that as Christians, it will show the "fruit of the Spirit" which is "love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, temperance …." You've probably reached some Catholics that consistently fail to show these quailities ….. The same is true of the Lutheran and Protestant … I know of many examples of people who call themselves Christians by name and go to Protestant churches, it is good for business contacts ….. If that's the main reason that follow, we must ask if they are "born again"? Unfortunately, it's probably not ….
Martin Luther was a Catholic priest … But because some contraversial things happening in the Catholic Church, went … One of the main contraversies was that the Catholic Church at that time to raise funds sold "indulgenced" .. This was sold to the very rich who, once he had bought the "induldgence" could go to make several "immorral" acts and be granted a pardon by the priest … It was a fundraiser … I'm sure there are many Catholics who saw the wrong in this.
Martin Luther began the Protestant Reformation, because he believed we are saved by "faith" and not "works" .. Good works are important works and careful monitoring, as a result of a "born again" … However, the "good works" are what it takes to get to heaven …. For example, we go to church to worship God by love and gratitude toward knowing Jesus died for our sins. In our love and gratitude to Jesus paid our debt on the cross gives us a desire to serve Jesus by doing good deeds … I dated a Catholic once and I remember once we went to a Catholic wedding on Saturday, which included a mass and she was happy because it eases their obligaton go to church on Saturday night / Sunday morning …. Another example, a businessman going to a Protestant church on Sunday they had seen his truck with his advertising business phone number should not be the main reason for going to church …
Catholics believe the communion bread and juice after taking what actually becomes Christ's blood and body of Christ …. Protestants believe that communion is a Sacriment what we do "in remembrance of Jesus' sacrifice, but it actually turns into blood and body of Christ ..
Protestant Lutheran and I think we can pray for forgiveness directly to Jesus …… If Catholics confess their sins through priests .. Protestants believe when we pray the prayer of Lords, in particular, "Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us "….. May this prayer, in effect, as a believer in Jesus Christ and are asking God for forgiveness …..
I hope some of this helps …. Sorry for being so long-winded … is the main thing that all Lutherans, Catholics and Protestants and that I should ask the same question that Jesus talked about Nicodemus, "we are born again" .. So each of us must find the answer to that question, because Jesus Himself spoke of it as the only way to enter the kingdom of heaven … It is a matter of each of us must ask ourselves individually .. In other words just because my mom and dad are "born again" does not mean that I am "born again" or just because I am "born again" does not mean my mom and dad are " born again. " In short, the church membership does not guarantee "born again". Jesus is the one that determines who goes to heaven … I'm not asking anyone if confirmed as a Catholic, or if you were a member of the Lutheran Church, etc. ..
When the true believers in heaven … I believe that the classification of Catholics, Lutherans, Presbyterians, Methodists, Baptists, Penticostal, Protestant, and so lose its importance placed on it in the land … I think there will be some Protestants and Catholics in Heaven … I think there will be some who called themselves Protestants and Catholics are here on earth who are in hell …. Everyone who became "born again" willl be with Jesus in heaven for all eternity …. I'm sure that Jesus said that …… God bless you as you search for answers ….

Anyone who has followed the basic principles of both Lutheran and Protestant most of the other "religions" will have the opportunity to hear the message of salvation. And it might find their way to God in the manner prescribed.
Those who know only the RC dogma never find their way to God in the form prescribed … unless you do it outside the control of the cult. All those who merely follow the Control RC man invented religion eternaly be lost and separated from God.
The true Church are by no man invented "religion" but can participate in one of the "Christian denominations" that the cult of CR is a part.

"Protestants" is a term given to religions that differ from accepted Catholocism so again in 1600. One of the first of these was "Lutheran", founded by Martin Luther.

  5. eg_ansel says:

Lutheran and Protestant come from a Catholic Church gone glutton in the Middle Ages. Preists were delivered and who decided to break for themselves.
Some left for them to do the research and science, some freedom, some were Jews and some were Muslims.
Study your witch trials and other things, to burn heretics at the stake and the Inquisition are two very terrible. Thus Christians and Catholics can not say they are better than Muslim fundamentalists who cut his hand off for stealing. These people when they think they are holier than some others is when things go great and horrible. All will be revealed for what they really are. Great people will rise up and total ugliness together at once. He headed this way to WW III, as will be seen now whether the study and the church and the history of the prewar period. I am a lover of history and theology with a specialization in missions, religion and nursing to enable tellyou history repeats cause 90% of the world is crazy: the sense of repeating the same thing over and over and expecting a result different.
Who wins a war? Ask the dead, or hunger.
War = hunger + death + destruction in hell
After the war = those who live through it to reach the top, but they forget their humble begginnings and the cycle begins again.
As for religion break offs when you see this happening to cause the Apocalypse, as is happening again, and that when Jesus came to Earth.

Protestant: one part of the churches that split from the Catholic Church and the churches formed after the Reformation of 1500. Lutherans, Presbyterians, Methodists, Baptists, Calvary Chapel, etc. are all "Protestant" churches.
The Reformation initiated by Martin Luther in Germany at the beginning of 1500 when he nailed 90 points for the opposition, basically to the Catholic Church in the door of a German cathedral.
Included need a priest to confess their sins, the interpretation of Scripture by non-clergy, prayer, others in the Trinity, etc.
Read about the Reformation and Martin Luther if included. It is very inetersting and add considerably to your knowledge in many ways.
Only one big question. I grew up Catholic.

The Catholic Church has been accused of relying on the works to reach heaven, however, scores of owners of several months ago when Pope John Paul II said that the only way is through Jesus and His precious blood was shed, The Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.
Now, to end all the suspicions about the Catholic belief in the works, the Pope signed an agreement with the Lutheran World Federation, admits that Luther was right.
This is justification by faith alone. Romans 1:17. Not by works. But the Pope added, I mean just do not believe that we are saved by works, but I think when we are saved, the work is manifest. That's what we teach. We are saved by grace in Ephesians 2:8. We are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works. Faith without works is dead James 2:20.
Catholics are Christians? The fact is this, Pope John Paul II signed the 1 year before his death. They spend time away from the Lutheran teachings, according to the Pope.

Lutheran, Protestant. Protestants left the Catholic church. Martin Luther protested the conversion by force / death that were practicing Roman Catholics through the Spanish Inquisition and the Crusades. That is what Protestants - the protesters.
The first Protestant church was the Lutherans, the name of Martin Luther. So what now had Catholics and Protestants, and that is how we are all still called Christians. But it is even more complicated, as some Protestants wanted to retain some of the teachings of the Catholic Church, and some wanted rid of them all. So Protestants were divided further. Yet all are Christians.
There are many sects of Protestant Christians. Morman, Lutheran, Episcopal, Pentecostal, Baptist, Jehovah's Witnesses, etc. .. Not every Hail Mary, to believe in saints, or believe in the explanation of the trinity of God's nature.

  9. kilroyma says:

Remember this saying comes from the many and the many comes one. God never gave mankind a religion to follow. All religions were created by man. That should be enough said to answer the question about the confusion about all the different religions. God told him to follow and not a man made religion that God meant to represent .. The next time you read the 10 commandments that I actually read and perhaps you will see that the Church did not give them to you. God did. Another thing that no church can save only God can do that. So to be honest the Catholic Church, the Protestant Church, the Lutheran, they are unable to do anything for you then others to get rich off of you. Jesus Christ made it very clear in saying that the only way the father is through me. It is not a church but through me, thinking about it. Have a nice day.

  10. billcomp says:

To Luther left the Catholic faith, consisting of "faith alone" apart of charity and good works.
Protestants copied the Nicene Creed, without questioning the description of the creed of the Trinity. So there's Protestants and Catholics, saying that "three persons" or "three persons", and some even say "three Gods" instead of one God in the Lord Jesus Christ.
