All three are appropriate. If you are writing a letter last name of the father is the best.
Father is used in the sense of a protective person, a father figure. Por supuesto, nuestro verdadero padre en el cielo. Since the priest is a representative of God, we call him Father.

Only "Father" is fine. We called our priest or "Father" or "Father Jim".

If you are a friend of the priest, addressing him as "Father (name)" unless, "Father (Name)". If you do not know your name, address him as "Father."

If he were not a priest, and you call him Mr. (surname), then call the parent (name). If he were not a priest and to call by his first name, call him the father (first name).

I would say the father of Jones, to be ascertained whether his parishioners call him Father Joe, or whatever. Only the father is also used when you are more familiar, or if you do not know his name yet.

I suppose it depends on how easy it is with the priest.By, I mean, are you in the "friendship" with stand the priest or working closely with him that you both feel comfortable with how to address each others.
If you do not know at all, is the Father [Last Name], if you know it.
If you know the Father [name] or, if he says, "If I called FR. [Name]
If you just met him, or forgot his surname, the father is fine.
I had an uncle who was a priest, so it was always "P.. Pete "for us. His brothers and sisters called him, too.

All three are acceptable. So the Reverend or Pastor. I have known many Catholic priests, most of them very well. Most are not really more than formal, and frankly could not care less. Peace and Blessings ~ ~

Only "Father" is always appropriate.
If you use the name or surname is the personal preference of the priest.
If you do not know your preference, it is perfectly fine to ask.

I speak to him, "Father," Father [Last Name "or" Father [Name, Last Name] ". Oh, and for Christians ignorant who say "do not call anyone on earth your father, you're wrong on two levels: 1) The verse says" no one on earth "and not" no man in the land "and 2) that Jesus meant, not to call a father who does not deserve respect. He meant that not coincidentally uses the term father. When Catholics use the term father, it used to: 1) The first person in the Trinity, 2) The male biological father, and 3) the priests. To my knowledge, all three deserve the respect of his father called.
