Some Christians say all kinds of terrible things. Some Catholics also. I can tell you that only God knows what will happen to any of us after death, so forget about what others say and talk to God about it. Personally I am of the opinion that many of us are surprised to see that it is not that ever after this life is over, but it's just an opinion. I'm happy that does not depend on me.

Due to its restrictive interpretation of Christianity is opposed to any form of being a Christian, have also been reading too many Chick tracts, and are guilty of not engaging the brain, and believing that the first thing they hear from their pastor ... of the Catholic Church was the first church organized and flowed all the others .... Like it or not. Some say that one is saved by faith alone, and the Catholic Church, primarily through faith and works .... How can two seemingly contradictory roles of faith and works relate, interact and complement each other? By faith alone in Christ we are saved. Faith is the instrument Christ is the Savior. For works that demonstrate the authenticity of our faith. We are saved by faith alone, not by faith that is the only one. In other words, back up their faith with works in your life, make your life a reflection of God's work, do not be a person who can have faith in the heart but not the outward expression of the same ..... It's all up to interpetation, and as the Catholic Church was here long before the chicks of this world, and openly practice their faith in practice makes more sense to me, I'll go with the faith and works as position in Christ as the discussion take thiis, Hope this helps Halcon

Many Protestants do not understand the purpose of the sacrament of baptism and the Holy Spirit, especially as it applies to this particular issue. They do this for many reasons but mainly because of lack of authority, and generally novel religious traditions that were born in, or accepted by choice. The simple fact is, baptism, when performed with water in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit is always 100% effective in sweeping away all the sins of the soul, making a temple of the Holy Spirit, co heir with Jesus Christ, a citizen of heaven, and a member of the Church. Baptism is the definitive method of ordinary and born again from above, and anyone who chooses to try to do things differently is playing it big with his personal salvation. The baptism of infants, particularly as practiced by the Catholic Church, according to the grace of God and the faith of the Church, remains the most definitive test of salvation without any works at all. Let every Protestant thought that for a while.

If you hold the doctrine of the church as completely true, then there are things in the Catholic Church that lead someone to not be saved. In particular, the idea that salvation must be earned by a good life is contrary to the Bible and the Scriptures. The question is this. Are you going to base their eternal salvation in the traditions of men or the Bible? If you believe the Bible, then most of the teachings of the Catholic Church is an abomination for you. There are things in the Catholic Church which are specifically warned against in the Bible, and tells us to stay away from these people. As for me and my house, we obey the Bible.

Born again means accepting Christ and the new Christian personality or spirit fruitages described by the apostle Paul in the Bible books of the latter ... it isn't a reincarnation literal ... as this is no longer possible .. only a certain number are bound for heaven .. 144,000 and are unable to retake human form once they are dead ...

I think you described one of the perennial problems with Christianity. To be a Christian, you must believe that Jesus Christ is the Savior and that believing in Him and asking forgiveness for their sins, your salvation. Catholics believe that this, as do all other Christians. The forms of worship and church organizations may vary, but the message is the same. "He who is born again he can not enter the Kingdom of Heaven". I do not think anyone can judge whether another person is "born again" or not.

Because if you read the whole chapter 3 of the St. John 's gospel, you discover for yourself why. And also, the true pure gospel message is explained in Romans chapters 1 to 8.
