Why Catholic people make images of God and idols? When the Bible says no.?
"You shall not make a graven image, or any likeness of what is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth, not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing steadfast to thousands who love Me and keep My commandments. "(Exodus 20:4-6 KJV)
"Is there a God beside me? There is no rock, I know of none. "All who make idols are nothing, and pleasure in things that do not benefit, their witnesses neither see nor know, that may be ashamed. Modeling a god or casts an image that is profitable for nothing? Behold, all his companions shall be ashamed, and craftsmen are but men, who mount them all, leave etc, should be terrified, to be put to shame together. "(Isaiah 44:8-11 KJV)
So is with the rosaries?, I know that Catholics use it to remember how to recite prayers or scriptures, but why?
Hail Mary? Why she was not wrong god I God.Don used as tools to Jesus about it, but not God.
- Catholics regularly bow down to idols / icons / images of Jesus / Mary / apostles, kissing the feet Ofstatues/praying4them?
- Only the Catholics: Why do Graven Images When the Bible says, "You shall not make a graven image"?
- Do you believe in the Bible, King James Version O Say Porn.

- In reference to idols, when Jesus said we are not making idols, he was talking to those who were

I am not Catholic, but am considering a conversion.
Tell me, do you have photos of loved ones at home? What about book covers with pictures of them? DVD with pictures of them? Any statues? Sculptures? Prints? Painting?
If you follow the "idolatry" thing to its natural conclusion, then, having any of those things in your house is idolatry. But obviously, have icons, not having that is idolatry, not only Catholics, paintings and sculptures is idolatry. Who do not worship icons, paintings or sculptures, but use them to put in mind of what they represent.
On the Rosary, all prayers are the Scriptures. The rosary simply help Catholics to remember that prayer is.
And "Hail Mary full of grace" is literally what Gabriel told Mary when he announced he would bear the Son of God. The Hail Mary is part of the sentence, as I said, is all of Scripture. Each line is the Scripture.
Edit: BTW, I see nothing wrong with you asking questions about him. I hope you do not think my response is rude, because it certainly was not intended that way.
Please study the whole Bible and not use hermeneutics eisegesis malpractice. The following explains how the sacred images that are pleasing to God, in fact, ordered that they be used in worship and praise Him.http: / / blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-S6YMuFYya …
In Christ

It is a religion to please men. For Mary … Luke 11:27 "And it came about, as he said these things, a business woman raised her voice and said: Blessed is the womb that bore you and the breasts that nursed.
28 "But he said, rather, blessed are those who hear the word of God and obey it."
This has been treated with a long, long time … and quite satisfactory. Go here to see the full explanation: http://douglawrence.wordpress.com/2008/0 …
This question has been answered by millions of Catholics of times.
First, we ** ** DO NOT worship idols. The statues are there to remind, not worship.
Mary is the Mother of God, and therefore we ask you to intercede with God for us.
Why are Christians always let other Catholics? You realize everything you believed to come from the Catholic … Right?
They put forward the tradition of Scripture. Jesus condemned the practice, as in Matthew 15:1-11.
Rosary Memory is pray tell, that is, repeating without thinking. Jesus condemned in Matthew 6:7
You're confusing the worship of adoration. Do any of your deceased family headstones or tombstones? Same thing.
How about an Amy Grant poster hanging in his house? Hmmm.
Catholics do not worship idols. We honor the saints, as we ask them to pray to God with us and on our behalf, as you can ask someone to pray for you when you feel you need help.
* Shudder *
Uncultured melted my flesh crawl.

Catholics are nice people. Do not judge.
I agree 100% the bible says not to worship idols, but they do anyway
Images and statues
Deut. 4:15 - this verse, Protestants say that since he saw "no way" the Lord, recorded images should not do it.
Deut. 4:16 - of course, in the early history of Israel was forbidden to make images of God, because God has not yet reveal himself visibly "in the form of any figure."
Deut. 4:17-19 - Therefore, the Israelites had represented God not yet revealed who might be tempted to worship in the form of an animal, bird, reptile or fish, which is a common misconception of time.
Exodus 3:2-3, Dan 7:9, Matt. 3:16, Mark 1:10, Luke 3:22, John 1:32, Acts 2:3 - later, however, we see that God revealed in visible form (as a dove, fire, etc.).
Deut. 5:8 - God's commandment "Thou shall not make an idol" is fully connected to the worship of false gods. God does not forbid images used in worship, but bans images of themselves to be worshiped.
Exodus 25:18-22, 26:1,31 - for example, God orders the making of the image of a gold cherub. This image of heaven, of course, is worshiped by the Israelites. Instead, the image you have of their minds to the supernatural and calls God.
Num 21:8-9 - God also commands the execution of the bronze serpent. The image of the bronze serpent is not an idol to be worshiped, but an article that raises the spirit of the supernatural.
I Kings 6:23-36, 7:27-39, 8:6-67 - Solomon's temple contains statues of cherubim and images of cherubim, oxen and lions. God did not condemn these images that were used in worship.
2 Kings 18:4 - it was only when people began to worship the statue that incur the wrath of God and the king destroyed it. The order prohibits the use of recorded images deals exclusively with the false worship of those images.
1 Chronicles. 28:18-19 - David Solomon gives plan for the refined gold altar with a golden cherubim images. These images were used in the Jews' most solemn place of worship.
2 Chron. 3:7-14 - the house was full of gold with elaborate cherubim carved in wood and covered in gold.
Ez. 41:15 - Ezekiel describes the images recorded on the church has carved portraits of cherubs. These are similar to images of angels and saints in many Catholic churches.
Col. 1:15 - the only image of God that Catholics worship is Jesus Christ who is the "image" (Greek "Eikon") of the invisible God.
I see the result of that terrible American Protestant culture of inbred Hicks.
I'm not sure how many times has to be repeated or stated. The statues are not idols, since they are not a cult. They are no different from a circle of prayer inanimate, I guess when I beg you sometimes have their hands and pray with others at your side? The statues you ask, are constructed as holy for a reason. We ask the saints to support us in our prayers to Jesus Christ the Lord.
Rosaries? It's no different from a Bible. After all, why a Bible when you can learn everything by oral tradition?! The point is there rosaries to help lead the prayers, so do not skip one, but could easily lose sight of that prayer you are.
While it certainly may seem like idolatry to two people without healthy brain cells to rub together.
First, the Hail Mary is a quote from Scripture, there can be nothing wrong with that.
Our statues are not gods, are to remind people to remember the holy Christ. The completion of statues began centuries ago when most people could not read and Bibles were written by hand so there were very few of them. The only place where a person can hear the Scriptures was in church. Statues of the characters in the Bible helped bring these stories to life. They were used to help teach.
But today, we use to remember and recall. When I look at a statue of Mary, the visual aspect helps me to focus on his humility and willingness to give everything to God. How many times have you heard someone say "I am a visual person, learn better with visual aids" or "I'm a hand in person," and so we need and use our senses to help you concentrate and meditate. That's all.
God himself had statues of the ancient Jewish temple viewing angels, statues, etc. So they are not wrong. The statues of false gods to be worshiped for wrong. Catholics know that they love and the difference between our God and a statue.
Catholics worship the Triune God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and Him only. There is a difference between "worship" and "honor". Catholics honor (show respect) the statues of Jesus, for example, just as patriotic Americans honor (to show respect to) the American flag. The flag is just a piece of colored cloth, but it is an honor because of what it represents. Similarly, a statue of Jesus is only plaster and paint, but because of who honor represents. A Catholic does not worship a statue of Jesus that an American patriot loves the American flag. Hail Mary full of grace in the Bible, the angel said to Mary, the same, when he spoke to Mary. Mary is a goddess and no Catholic believes that, or pay tribute to her as if it were their own DIRECTLY mother.we pray to God!. However, I would like to ask a relative or friend to pray for you. Sainst We ask the intercession of Mary and to pray for U.S., and it is biblical. Here some Referance for you.
And here are some Referance Bibilical therefore in Psalm 103 we pray, "Bless the Lord, you his angels, that the powerful who do his word, listening to the voice of his word! Bless the Lord, all his hosts, his ministers to do His will! "(Psalm 103:20-21). And in the first verses of Psalm 148 we pray, "Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord of the heavens, praise him in the highest! Praise him, all his angels, praise him, all his army! "
Not only praying heaven with us, also pray for us. In the book of Revelation, John sees that "the elders [the leaders of the people of God in heaven] fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints "(Revelation 5:8). Thus the saints in heaven offer to God the prayers of the saints on earth.
Angels do the same: "[an] angel came and stood at the altar [in heaven] with a golden censer, and was given much incense to mingle with the prayers of all saints upon the altar of gold before the throne, and the smoke of incense rose with the prayers of the saints from the hand of the angel before God "(Revelation 8:3-4).
all these things speak of U are the teachings of the men who make void the true word of God, Mary was chosen by God and that really was blessed Cary Christ in his heart that's for sure. We should be thankful to be blessed by it, but we should not worship that is not allowed compares God also memorized prayers repeated in the songs and really likes to sing, but such are the beliefs and teachings of man, but not are God, Jesus said many will come in my name, but not send
