Have you read "The Two Babylons? Alexander Hislop is a source of evil. All this shit that you are defending is nonsense. Read the book for yourself! In the introduction and first chapter, supports the following:
1) None of his contemporaries, in accordance with its findings.
2) It's all about the mythology Nimrod.
3) Any words that sound alike share a common meaning.
4) Any similarities between paganism and Catholicism are Catholic, loans from the pagans, and the possible similarities between paganism and the pagan faith Hislop loans are Christians.
In addition, Hislop wrote his book before the discovery of the Sumerian civilization. Nimrod Nimrod's religion for almost 2000 years earlier. There is no historical reference to Nimrod out of two short verses in the Book of Genesis.

But good job, That's allot of references and the study has come through. I'm surprised more people have not calculated this for themselves, but they do much more than reading and studying the scriptures and take other peoples explanations at face value without investigating for themselves!

a word of Jesus Christ, in his opinion, just is stuck

Unfortunately, most people of that faith and the like are unable to see beyond what is taught from childhood, and find the answers of life itself … even to confirm their beleifs they (in general) seems scared.
I suggest to leave behind, on any website or links from book titles and authors, validify test their claims. You can say what you want easier to understand, instead of people who decide they're in some kind of religious turmoil. Good luck!
