They have recently in Australia and had the Pope for a couple of months to apologize for the incidents of sexual abuse and 2 were imprisoned and more to come.

  2. no fixed address says:

Do you have the guts to name the priests who were never called to justice?
You can not. There is none. All of them are in jail. The trial by a court of law are all in jail, no trial for witch-hunters like you.
Do you have the guts to fight the public school teachers who rape children at a rate of 100 times more than the priests?
This shows that we are interested in the victims, only the identity of the alleged abusers.

Child sexual abuse does not go BAGGAGE
      February 20, 2008
      • In place of punishing child molesters, are simply transferred from one place to another without anyone a heads up.
      · It takes almost a year and a half to investigate allegations of abuse.
      · If the defendant is guilty of touching a child or have access to pornography on a computer, he can continue to work whenever he sees a psychiatrist.
Even · offenders who admit their crimes are given a second chance.
      • Those empowered to do the research are mandated to seek the rehabilitation of offenders.
      • The researchers are not responsible from the outside, and not all staff are from within.
Discounted · are routinely cut for accused abusers in secret, protecting the identity of the perpetrator of the community.
      • The accused abusers not only walking, walking with cash payments, health insurance and letters of recommendation, provided they agree to be lost.
Catholic League president Bill Donohue commented as follows:
"The above is taken from a splendid two-part series on the problem of child sexual abuse in public schools in Oregon, which was published on 17 February and 18 in The Oregonian. The same problem of sexual abuse, trafficking in secret, in research, rehabilitation, there is nationwide. Oh yes, so does the phenomenon of "passing the trash to other school districts.
"So where is the outcry? If this were the Catholic Church, there would be calls for resignations and punitive measures. Just goes to show that children do not matter, what matters is the identity of the alleged abuser.
"True to form, when a Republican legislator in Oregon wanted to suspend the rules to address this immediately, was denounced by Democrats. Indeed, of the 53,000 dollars granted by the Oregon Education Association lawmakers since November 2006, over 90 percent went to Democrats. It was not until the model to public schools on the reforms of the Catholics, this problem should be checked. "
      "Where is the outrage?

<<Catholics? Have you ever brought against the fact that priests who raped children were never called to justice? …….. by the church?>>
Well, if by "Church" he is referring to the higher authority of God, then, the truth is that their time resolution has not arrived.
Justice, as the Church is allowing the sinner every chance to repent. This opportunity comes to an end only when we die.
Not that I have been called to justice. Have they not been called to justice yet.

  4. Dr. Zoom Zoom 3.0 says:

Allegations of child sexual abuse made against a variety of religious groups, including but not limited to Catholic priests, monks and nuns. Several lawsuits were filed in 2001 alleging that priests had sexually abused minors. Some priests resigned, others were expelled or jailed, and financial settlements totaling hundreds of millions of dollars are made with many victims. The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops commissioned a comprehensive study that found that four percent of all priests who had served in the U.S. from 1950 to 2002 faced some sort of sexual accusation. According to the report, the joint actions include playing teenage boys under his clothes and removing their clothing, but the most serious acts were committed in many cases. The Church was widely criticized when it was discovered that some bishops knew about allegations and reassigned the accused instead of removing them, while public school administrators engaged in a similar manner when dealing with accused teachers. Some bishops and psychiatrists indicated that the prevailing psychology of the period suggests that people could be cured of such behavior through counseling. Many of the abusive priests had received counseling before being reassigned.

  5. Aleria says:

You obviously is not the search for truth.
The fact that the news is not reporting it (like not report how the Church of Christ has the largest number of pedophiles as pastors in their churches) does not mean that nothing was done.
As many have said, Catholic priests around the world are being stripped of their necks and placed in jail, which were not convicted of any crime, but it is believed that possibly if they stayed where they were turned away from children in a ministry that deals with children and young adults.
The priests who were 100% innocent were given an apology and returned to their jobs.
Now all men who are thinking about joining the priesthood must pass a very deep psychological test before they can be accepted into a seminary school.
The Church is certainly doing things about these priests who abused their powers. To claim that one is not ignorant on their part.

  6. Norman03 says:

You're behind the times and a little sensationalism. It is great that this abuse was brought to light. Any institution, including the Catholic Church must be brought under control. It began a series of reforms in the Church.
Pope John Paul II said later that "there is no place in the priesthood and religious life for those who harm the young." [19] The Church instituted reforms to prevent future abuse by requiring background checks for employees of the Church [20] and because a large majority of victims were teenagers, disallowing ordination of men with "deep homosexual tendencies. " [21] [7] At present, require dioceses to a complaint to alert the authorities conduct an investigation and remove the accused from duty. [20] [22] In 2008, the Church says that the scandal was a very serious problem and estimated that "probably was caused by" no more than 1 percent (or 5,000) of the over 500,000 Catholic priests around the world [3].
During a recent visit to the United States Pope Benedict admitted that he is "deeply ashamed" of the scandal of clergy sexual abuse that has devastated the American church. Benedict pledged that pedophiles would not be priests in the Catholic Church [23].
The thing is that people (apparently you're one of them) revel in sensationalism. As noted, the problem exists on a much greater extent in institutions outside the Catholic Church, both secular and religious.

  7. Meg M says:

    >> call to justice by the church? <<
Well, let's see .. some secular priests, other priests were put back into the ministry after the church was assured by experts that it was safe, and removed from his ministry that contact with the children involved. In your opinion, what should have been done was not done? The Church has no legal authority to throw people in jail or burnt at the stake, you know.

  8. miss music says:

I'm Catholic and I have never supported these priests nor my parish!
Why everybody assumes that all Catholics are bad because of the misdeeds of some priests? and recognize people not that less than 1% of Catholic priests that the rape not only rapists and those who follow people?!

  9. Mama Kate formerly preggo! says:

These men are called to justice by the law and to know people are guilty of these crimes and whether the church should not be covered up, but if you look at all other religions is the Catholic Church is the least guilty of sexual crimes in adults and children. Not only that, but there is moral rather than men are priests and these men are intelligent educated people highdy. You are generalizing and wrong. The Catholic faith is not about these people who have sin is the forgiveness of sins and giving perfect worship Christ our Lord, the rest is all politics and, as they say what goes around comes around men come to justice either on this Earth or in afterlife.http: / / / http://www.catholicleague.org research / a …
Pray the Rosary and receive the sacraments of the glory of Christ the King.

  10. Paco C says:

I am not a Catholic, but I have faith in Jesus our Lord.
The man is evil and shameful.
Jesus said that is without sin?
It's a shame what we see happening in the Church and the coverup.
This is not the work of God but of man.
The church has committed terrible acts in the name of God.
That is a false god and false.
Not the God that Jesus, our Lord spoke of nothing.
