Pastor is correct. We are asking our beloved Saints to pray for and with us, but still all the prayers go through Jesus

We, as Christ's body to play our part in salvation, the only way to see the hand of Christ in this part of salvation to the Church, how they hear if nobody tells them, bind and loose etc. Christ told us that do the will of the father as him, we're even in the tradition that has given us in the sacraments, that is through it with him and in him. It is Christ in us doing the work, we are the body instruments if you want. The priest represents Christ as we all do, but play a greater role in the salvation of souls, acting on behalf of Christ in him. tells us to pray for the body and say that we are no longer part of the body when we die is very bad because we are more, because the saints are with Christ and God face to face, and continue to pray for the body and do so in Jesus' name yet, because there is only one acceptable sacrifice any other work or faith can do no good only the sacrifice of Christ. So again with him in it and through it we are all one in Christ, he is the head but the body is governed by the head so that we do the work that gives us and that work is always to save souls. God bless.

I believe that Jesus is the only mediator, no intercessor. They have different meanings. The Bible says there is one mediator and mediator who is Jesus Christ. Catholics certainly believe this. Jesus is the only one who can make us capable of reaching God. It is through his sacrifice that God's way was opened for us. This has nothing to do with "talking" to God. We can talk to God, Jesus and the Holy Ghost directly. The Bible tells us to intercede for others is good and pleasing to God. He wants us to pray for others. This in no way violates the mediator-ship of Christ. The same goes for asking Mary and the saints to pray for us. They are part of the Body of Christ with us, and you can pray for us. Mary and the Saints died in Christ. According to John 3:16 that have eternal life. This means that currently stand before God, praise and glorify him. They still form part of the body of Christ. We know this because St. Paul tells us that "nothing can separate us from God or even death." So their deaths are not separated from God or us. We can ask them to pray for us, as you would a friend.

Jesus said, "what you do to the least of my brethren you do unto me" We are all part of the body of Christ and as such, we can intercede for them with God.
