Well, it's a pretty popular name where I come from, but in that more Catholics and Protestants do not know, either way is a biblical name to fit in any Christian-based religion.

Frankly Names do not have to sound like a specific religion. My uncle, father and siblings are the names of David and all are Catholic. My friends friend is David and he is Protestant
