No. If you want to marry and remain a priest, who must be thinking of converting to Protestants. Of course, that would be a very poor excuse to exit the current tehir faith to another only because they want to marry.

- A Catholic -- First, married Catholic priests. It is the norm for Eastern Catholics have married priests. There are also Catholic priests married, but this is not the norm. Personally, I do not think married priests as a norm for Catholics is a good idea. If you look at history, every problem with the priesthood in the trunk of the west of the lack of celibacy in the priesthood. Theologically reason it is also strong for celibacy. There is a clear indication that God wants for the Roman Catholic priesthood to be celibate as a particular charism. The idea that if more priests would allow marriage is simply not true. There is no organization of married men out there that, as its purpose is to agitate for Rome that specifically allowed for married priests. In addition, statistically the dioceses to teach a strong opinion on celibacy has seen an increase in men who want to be priests. The dioceses that deviate from this view a reduction in those who want to be priests. Furthermore, the whole notion of married priests, as is spouted in the U.S., comes from a notion of a Protestant pastor, not the Catholic understanding of priesthood. They simply do not see the priests as ontologically different from other humans. There is also a huge trend for developers who want to get married priests to dissent from the rest of the teachings of the Catholic faith. They use the issue of married priests only to promote an agenda more radical and heretical.
