Do you think that the Immaculate Conception was the birth of the Virgin?
Before you answer, do a little research.
Ask your minister or priest and learn a little.
If you believe that the Immaculate Conception was the birth of the Virgin and I can prove to be incorrect, would you agree to examine the rest of your beliefs?
It's not fair to go with errors in its belief system, right?
I speak to many Christians who have no idea how wrong they are on the Immaculate Conception.
The Immaculate Conception is the theory taught by the
The Catholic Church. They claim that Mary was conceived when Mary was conceived without sin, the Immaculate Conception.
Google Immaculate Conception, and prove yourself.
If your response indicates CI = VB're wrong!

- Mary (not Jesus) was conceived in "Immaculate Conception"?

The Immaculate Conception is a Catholic dogma that Mary, the mother of Jesus, was preserved by God from the stain of original sin at the time of its conception.
The virginal conception of Jesus Christ, see Incarnation (Christianity) and the Virgin Birth (Christian doctrine).
The Immaculate Conception is the conception of Mary born without sin. She also is protected from ever being able to sin. She is the pefect human ONLY which existed before the birth of His Son Jesus who is true God and true man. Jesus Chirst is born of the Virgin Mary, BY THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT (not by sexual intercourse with her husband Joseph).
I always thought that the Immaculate Conception was not about the birth of Jesus, the birth of Mary. I believe by faith. I can not argue with you about it. I just think the nature of God is to be able to do things that some of us do not understand yet. But if you think of God as the Supreme Being. He is able to do the incredible. I am not a Catholic. I believe that Mary, the mother of Jesus was a sinner like all who came after Adam and Eve. Jesus is the only one who did not sin. However, he took the sins of the world to those who think they can be born again and live forever with God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit. May the God of my Lord Jesus bless you and your light on yourself. st.rick
Catholic theory indicates that Mary had to be a ship without sin be the instrument by which the Savior would be born, so had to be free of sin. So at the moment of conception she was spared the stain of original sin of Adam and Eve, that all other human beings inherit.
This is the only connection between the Immaculate Conception and virgin birth.
Any woman who gets pregnant the first time you have sex is a virgin birth.
Do you believe in Santa Claus?
you are correct. get a cookie.
Nobody has proven that Jesus existed, let alone given birth by a virgin.
The Catholic Church not only affirms Mary was a virgin, they say that is a virgin to this day. And, living in a palace in heaven, forever to remain a virgin.
It makes you wonder why humans have genitals if women can give birth without having sex.
Good luck with your quizzes, but you can begin to prove that Jesus existed.
Conception and birth are two different things. You do not need research to tell them that they are equivalent.
You seem to be proving a point rather than ask a question.
Huuummm, well, I'm not Catholic. I do not live that Mary was an immaculate conception. I've never actually heard until this site.
Jesus was on the other side.
I'm not sure it is challenging … or both.
You can not "prove" to me. I trust the word of God and His word says it was. I will always take the word of God for man.
Interesting. I'm not religious, but I always thought that the Immaculate Conception had to do with the conception of Jesus. Huh.
P.S. I think people above are not reading your question correctly.
No, the birth occurred after conception.

I do not believe in the Immaculate Conception of Mary at all. I can not find a shred of evidence in Scripture to support it, and I can not think of any logical reason why it must be true, either. Sex in marriage is not a sin, is something completely God approves. So if the parents of Mary were married (which, at that time and place, I am sure they were), then why should even be a problem? Mary was a good woman, but she was not sinless or perfect, and needed salvation as much as any other human being.
to start where is your proof. the grace of God can give an answer for you. These teachings are from God and so the fact that the Catholic Church the following is a sign of good taste, if u ask me.
Good point. And I agree with you. Mary was human, and through God, anything is possible. You do not need a perfect mother to have a perfect child. Mary was probably a very pious woman, but I have my doubts about her being perfect and sinless, when she gave birth to Jesus. I'll have to investigate the matter further.
