If a Roman Catholic priest is Celebate, how can you be "straight" or "gay"?

Because celebacy is to refrain from any sexual act, but does not mean that sexual desire disappears, only act on the wishes ceases.

Even people on a diet drool when passing by a bakery. Straight priests baba, so to speak, when a good woman who passes. Gay's saliva, so to speak, when a handsome man passed.
Note that I am using "baba" as a metaphor, the priests did not go with dark stains on his lapel, no more than dieting. What attracts you determine whether you are homosexual or heterosexual, not what you do with that attraction.

As noted sopmeone celibacy mean abstention. It has to do with gays or Hetre.
Was not originally Catholic celibate priests, of course. This is a much later invention.
Pedophiles, of course, are not gay or Hetros are pedophiles .. its a separate classification.
Most pedophiles are actually male, white, "HETRES" and non-Catholics. There is growing evidence that there are more pedophiles in the Baptist Church (in the U.S.) that there is in Catholicism. The problem is that a group of Baptists arent coherant in any way, so much more difficult to prosecute.

Celibacy has nothing to do with a person's sexual orientation. It just means that they took a religious vow to abstain from sex.
