It's a trap. One that caught me for years before I escaped. You see, in order to be forgiven must forgive. Is there, in the Lords prayer. ... And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us ..... Well, someone or something that bothers you is a sin against you. So we should forgive the atrocities of the past of any person or organization, if you ever want to be forgiven. That means you should forgive the Church, no matter how you felt about your past or present predictaments. It is a prerequisite for their own salvation. Even need to forgive Osama Bin Laden. If not, your own trap that prevents forgiveness and be forgiven. There are also plenty of passages about not judging others. Do not bother to judge what any particular church has done. You just make sure you're right. Of course, forgiving does not mean abandoning justice.

To be honest, other sects of Christianity have done many terrible things and ... not only Roman Catholics. Many leaders (not just potatoes) have changed over the translation of the Bible to suit their agenda and justify their cruel acts to indicate that it was written in the Bible (hence the different versions of the Bible and books that are missing, etc. ..). But I must say it is the followers of the faith, not faith itself is cruel. Faith is fine, if you look at it. But people do things in the name of faith in which everyone knows is wrong, simply because someone did not like, did not like the way the world evolves, so did the search for faith as a horrible thing. Christianity is a fine belief, a leader of fine (do not believe to be God), but fans need to get their head from their butts and stop interpreting things as they believe it is and continue the way they are is supposed to be followed. Maybe then people take it more seriously.

Sorry if I offend you here, but they were a little drunk when he wrote this? Do not infer from this, because the content but, rather, the phrasing. Apart from that - not a very peculiar idea that "God is the deity envisioned in the Judeo-Christian tradition. Apparently, few people today understand that, before monotheism, had a very different view of 'God'. I meet many people who are very angry and very disappointed with 'God' who have no idea that, once a time when this 'God' does not exist. In fact, the pagan cultures of Greece or Egypt or Ireland, the idea that God could satisfy all requirements were considered absurd. In the same way that a man has friends, a lover or wife / husband, teachers, coworkers, so did the bill to the pagan gods. There is a god who took care of the crops, the other house, another war, etc, and today we call polytheism and consider it an outdated mode of belief that has been superseded by 'science' and technology and "a true people of faith of Christianity - and still have the same problems, the same questions, the same fault that they never had and does not seem that science or the" modern world "has taken up the issues more deeply felt - and certainly has not monotheism. I think the Roman Catholic Church, to answer your question, finally, is simply re-packaged and updated paganism. At the Council of Nicaea in 325 the Emperor Constantine Christianity re-imagined in his own image and, before him, the apostle Paul had already re-imagined. The problem with Christianity - then and now - is that people confuse the eternal ideas of rebirth and renewal by the symbols of rebirth and renewal. The figure of Jesus is not entirely new - there is nothing in Christianity - Jesus is another symbol of death and revival of God and many before him to return to Innana in Sumer, Osiris in Egypt, and on the line . Religion is the disclosure of man to God - not a disclosure of God to humanity. It often means that the best of our efforts and make the worst. Do not blame God for the crusades or town boys and the rest. Look beyond the artifices of man-made religion to what exists eternally in the human condition. The real 'God' feel and believe can be very real - not just the image that has been trained to recognize. In the biblical book of Hebrews says that one must believe that God is and He rewards those who seek him - but never says what 'God' is - I Timothy in the Bible, Paul says that God dwells in light " inaccessible "and the book of Isaiah says God's ways are far above our ways. The Judeo-Christian Bible speaks very claims that understanding God is beyond our reach and understanding why bother with a man of building which, naturally, human defects? If your fear is that you go to hell for disagreeing with the Church, then you're in good company. Martin Luther had the same internal conflict. So have many.

One of my hobbies on the Roman Catholic Church is its belief that a Catholic priest has the power to forgive a man or woman sin.Excuse me, but no man or woman (regardless of its title) has the power to forgive sin of another. Only God can forgive sin.I personally ask God for forgiveness of my sins in the name of Jesus Christ, therefore the documentation of my faith in Jesus Christ and my belief that He was our sacrificial Lamb who was slain in the cross so that all can be forgiven of our sins when I sincerely ask that of God in Jesus' name. I also wonder why the cult of Mary more than Jesus. Do not get me wrong, she was a very special person in God's special eyes.So God chose to design and carry begotten Son of God, Jesus. But Please do not worship it, because she did so.The Catholic Church have a sense very distorted religious beliefs.I'm not judging, because they do it themselves through their actions that speak louder than words. They remind me of the Pharisees who persecuted Jesus, and sought to destroy him because they were so threatened by the teachings they feared that people would follow in their stead. It's just my opinion, I hope not to offend many people who are Catholic. You are entitled to their religious beliefs, as well as myself. I am also a Christian (a believer in Christ), and a follower of his teachings, so (the Old Testament and New Testament teachings included)
