God made the Big Bang to REALITY .. Do the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), all clove them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not believe? (سورة الأنبياء, Al-Anbiya, Chapter # 21, Verse # 30)

1) The "father of the Big Bang Theory" believed in God (being a Catholic priest and all) why can not I? Stubborn. Decides not to. 2) Some Christians (including some Catholics) say they do not believe in the Big Bang theory, because "you can not make something out of nothing." It sounds very unusual. I do not think I've met a Christian who **, knowing what the Big Bang Theory (BBT) implies **, rejected that theory. It is clear that fully agrees with Scripture. 3) As I said, that's not what the Big Bang says, anyway. According to the theory of Monsignor Lemaitre, derived through the use of mathematics, the universe began as a subatomic particle, and went from there. That is incredibly small, but still not "nothing." Is that correct? I have not read Lemaitre theory myself, but I've never heard it described this way. 4) at one time was believed that the universe was static (a view also held by fundamentalist Christians). (Grin) Who? (Me: fundamentalist Christian). I've never heard any Christian claim to subscribe to the theory of steady state. 5) I'm getting tired of some Christians (mostly fundamentalists), saying I can not believe the Big Bang, evolution and God at the same time. They understand only popularized modern variations of TB as TB. They do not understand what TB really own claims without all the bells and whistles of the variations and proposed specifications. Stick to the basics, and realize that the TBC, as fundamental - theory of friction, that is - is in full agreement with the Bible. For example, the modern popular proposal is that the "Big Bang" occurred millions of years ago and took billions of years for the Sun and Earth to form. However, the TBC does not make such claims on the event date or duration. These are the theoretical expansion of TB that do not directly affect the validity of the claims of TB itself. They are in a very real sense, the separate theories that hang from the TBC. The people of whom you speak do not realize that the grouping of several different theories under the umbrella of the BBT BBT when they criticize. It's not their fault - this is what is before them, and they do not have enough scientific background to realize what exactly they are being spoon fed scientific theories are many. Jim http://www.bible-reviews.com

Kool dude is right, no other religious scripture says. It is a plagiarism of the Sumerian tablets which is not a religious text. It is simply a history text that the Koran and the Bible plagiarism. Read Genesis Revisited by Zecharia Sitchin. This explains why the Bible says, especially Genesis, which says and explains all the Bible stories that were taken from the Sumerian tablets.

I think you mentioned his argument well, and I think they've done with regard to Christians and non Christians alike. I'm not really the best educated person in the world, and I was just a casual Bible scholar for 30 years. There are many things I do not understand, but I have faith. I have faith that God is God, and his son Jesus Christ died on the cross in payment as it were, for the sin of mankind. Jesus said that if we believe in Him and the Father who sent him have eternal life. I accept that on faith. But not only believe in Christ and have faith, like fire insurance, I have a life much better since I gave my heart to Jesus. Know him personally and walk with him daily, gives me comfort and assurance that there is something better here on earth for me to enjoy the hour before going home. Anyone who wants the same thing seriously and does not know how, feel free to contact me God Bless.
