What country still has lots of Catholic nuns / sisters?

I want to be a nun, but in my country there are many opportunities for this kind of vocation. I live in Canada in the GTA. I've never seen a nun in real life before (except on halloween … but then they were only kids and teenagers dressed, making fun of religious …)
There are Catholic priests, including many here in Canada more ..
So, is there any country that have left many nuns / monks?

If you want to help the sick, fist of getting a degree in nursing or (do not know if this is possible) to find an order to pay her nursing education.
You can take a visit or two to a convent in order to determine whether it really is a call. If not, you will be miserable! That is one reason why the novitiate program lasts four years.

You could live in Italy, near the Vatican City, with many Catholics and nuns and bishops. The Pope also lives there.
