A Catholic priest is a man who has gone through seminary school () and has been ordered by the Church. Most priests say Mass, confessions, weddings and funerals, and do the same things that any pastor to do to take care of his parishioners. Some priests taught in school or act as missionaries to other countries, but for the most part, priests are responsible for taking care of their parishes.

PRIEST An approved intermediary who offers a sacrifice on the recognition of God's supreme dominion over human beings and in the atonement of their sins. The mediation of a priest is the inverse of a prophet of God who communicates to people. A priest average people to God. Christ who is God and man, is the first, last and greatest priest of the new law. He is the eternal high priest who offered himself once and for all on the Cross, victim of an infinite value, and continually renewing the sacrifice on the altar through the ministry of the Church. Within the Church men who are especially ordained priests to consecrate and offer the body and blood of Christ in the Mass of the Apostles were the first priests ordained, when on the night of Holy Thursday, Christ said to do in his memory what he had done at the Last Supper. All priests and bishops to monitor their management to the Apostles. His second essential priestly power of forgiving sins was conferred by Christ on Easter Sunday, when he told the Apostles: "For those who forgive the sins they are forgiven; to retain anyone's sins, they are retained "(Jn 20 -22.23). All Christians, however, also share in the priesthood by their baptismal character. Are entitled to be offered in sacrifice with Christ through the eucharistic liturgy. For Mass on internally that bind to the outside offering only the ordained priest.

A person who has gone to many years of teaching at a college seminary and is at least 25 years of age. At the end, accept the sacrament of Orders, and is "ordained" a priest by a bishop. Part of the holy order is to remain celibate and not marry after taking holy orders, this is so they can focus all their attention on their local church and to make it easier for relocation if necessary. The main purpose of a priest is in the administration of the sacraments to Catholics in others. This includes the sacraments of marriage, reconciliation, communion, baptism, etc.

It is a Jewish cleric. Edit-no matter the thumbs down-you think a question like that deserves any kind of thoughtful response? On your bike.
