Maybe ………… DON "T QUESTIONS. Only responses is safer and it takes too many points.
in the real sense, I do not think any of these words offend a true Christian.
I'm like Jesus, my friend, I'm not offended by any word to me.
I just pray for the person and leave it in God's hands, that's all me.
one that most Christians will agree
but then again I advise Christians not to avoid the curse of God as they do not know what premium to come your way. rather be safe enough to keep
sex
Looking at your list, I do not see that necessarily offend ANY religion outright. It all depends on what we are talking about when you use the word. IE: when talking about history, Hitler's okay to be said about anyone or a Jew, as long as you do not deny that the Holocaust happened. It's all about context surrounding the word. And as you mentioned at the outset that you are not trying to offend anyone, I am sure that if someone does not stop I'll tell offended.
My two picks would probably be George Bush and Hitler. You can not blame a whole religion on the acts of one person, or even a group of people. That is just an elevated form of intolerance and prejudice. I am Native American, but I do not hate all white people to kill Indians. I was not alive at that time and was not persecuted myself, so I never took offense, and the people who killed the Indians are all dead long ago, why have hatred towards those who are in the grave? Do you expect that rose from the dead only to apologize or defend?
In my tenth grade biology teacher laughed my religious beliefs. Does this entitle me to hate all biologists, or even all scientists? I think not. I do not want that person to hate because hate store in the heart is not good for anything.
You can not avoid offending them, why try? Do they seem to care if you do not offend Christians?
BB
"Why?"
"what"
"how"
I am a Christian and none of those words offend me. Why not? (In the case of Hitler, if you think he was a true Christian, as he claimed, then you obviously do not understand Christianity.)
I am most offended by people that offend God or Christians by implying not intelligence, raving, etc. or making fun of God or Jesus. And those who do know who they are, but I do not care because they like it. But Jesus was persecuted worse than us, and prophesied that they would be persecuted as well. So when someone does that, simply proves that Jesus was real, and he was right.
But thanks for your concern. No offense taken.
Pagan, Wicca, Nature, Sex, Natural, homosexuals, Magic, Ritual, nothing related to the ritual (incense, holy water, etc.)
Nevermind … Over it goes, we should stop talking all together … I'm sure they'd love to, but I'm not going there.
Mitra
Horus
Dionysus
Osiris
Tamuz …
Fundy
Sky Story
Sky Daddy
Practically anything.
None of the above because I do not think you should watch what you say to yourself Christian, why change when you are around me they do not
These words on your list does not offend me. What offends me is that absolutely disrespectful to me or my God. We have the right to worship what we want without persecution. (Look it up. The dictionary meaning of persecution is literally stalking.) Same as you have the right of any denomination not without persecution.
I think everyone should stop using "the". It really offends me.
So, let's talk about religion and spirituality, without all those words you mentioned, and "the". And while we're at it, we should probably get rid of the "a" and "a" also, because only well above the line of what is acceptable in well-informed and civil discourse.
