Why is that throughout history, Christians are no longer any Jews or Muslims Targeted in hate?

"three-in-one/one-in-three The mystery of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit tritheism made official. The subsequent almost-deification of the Virgin Mary made quatrotheism … Finally, loads of saints raised to quarter deification turned Christianity into plain old-fashioned polytheism.
At the time of the Crusades, was polytheistic religion, most of which have never existed, with the possible exception of Hinduism. This untenable contradiction between the assertion of monotheism and the reality of polytheism was dealt with by accusing other religions of Christian guilt. The Church - Catholic and later Protestant - turned aggressively on the two most clearly monotheistic religions in view - Judaism and Islam - and persecuted as infidels or pagans.
The external history of Christianity consists largely of accusations that other religions are based on the worship of more than one god and therefore not the true God.
These pagans (Jews and Muslims), must be converted, conquered, and / or killed for their own good, to take advantage of the uniqueness of the Holy Trinity, plus appendages. "- which is certainly Companion (John Ralston Saul)

In my eyes all religious organizations in the past have done this, not only Christianity.
all those persecuted by the Romans, they would not stick to their emperor as a god. So this is human nature to try to force others to believe what you do.
All religious organizations have done this at one time or another.
Harod the Jews had killed many of their own faith. the Crusades Christians, and Muslims from Jihad. So do not blame the religion as much as people who use it as an excuse to make war or terrorism. These people have to find another way to do it, as it is in their nature. I do not think their religion as much as how we perceive.
I've always been of the opinion that many organized religions cause problems, but not faith. Faith is something everyone should have, and does not necessarily mean faith in God or Jesus, just simple faith in itself, its neighbors.
I would not call a Jew or a pagan, although Muslims, pagans are people who believe in more of a god or spirit. I am more pagan than nothing, but I have respect for all faiths, no matter what, provided they are not performing acts of terrorism or force their beliefs on me, I think everyone's entitled to believe what we want. This is just me though.
      I hope that helps.

  5. Snout says:

Not quite. The traditional hostility of Christians to Jews comes from the obvious fact that Christianity began as a Jewish sect [errr What were the ethnic and religious identities of all the biblical writers, not to mention the same Jesus?]. Schism is always in hostility.
The early history of Islam is similar, but not quite. Muhummad expected in their migration from Mecca to Medina to ally with fellow monothesists - Jews in Medina - After the persecution of political mechanisms. While there has been good to begin with, it eventually fell, as reflected by the change in the direction of prayer for Muslims from Jerusalem to the Kabbah in Mecca.
The conflict between the early Christians and Muslims has more to do with territorial conquest and control the gains of the nuances of theology.

After reading what I can only choose the books I am thankful for my classes in the way they have presented. I have faith that everything is as it should be by now that is all that any of us really does. Live! See? Mirrors do not reveal the truths. Look evil in the eyes …. It's all in what you choose to believe!

Since money is left on the table.
Christianity is a religion that needs to convert, conquer or kill those who think differently (Islam is the same way) to propagate themselves and make even more power and wealth to control.
Cracks me up that most do not realize that the Catholic Church is the world's largest employer and landowner, however, contribute nothing unless you can convert. And the only way to ensure that it continues to rise in power and wealth is to trample on all that oppose them.
It's been that way since the dark ages, and will remain so until after sheeple up. For what will never change.

Christians have used the Jews as scapegoats of history - - but no more that Muslims are doing now.
Christians have the excuse that the hatred was at a time when people were more superstitious, ignorant, easily led by the church - - - for the benefit of the church.
What excuse do the Muslims are ignorant hatred of the Jews of today?
As an avid reader of history, I have never read of hatred of Muslims or Christians. During the Crusades, the struggle was to get the "holy lands" under the control of Christians. I doubt there was much hatred of Muslims. As in WW 2, I had to kill many Germans. I had no hatred for them. They were fighting for their country. I was fighting for mine.
Muslims are building hatred against themselves in recent years. It is not difficult to understand if you read the newspapers.

Keep in mind that Christians are to constant attacks from other Christians as well. Check out the persecution of the Cathars, the Inquisition, the Reformation and the Counter Reformation. For more recent examples, see the anti-Catholic sentiment so often expressed in this forum.
One of the key elements of being a believer, "True," said Eric Hoffer, is the feeling of being persecuted. Some Christians have fed this sense of themselves in so far as pre-emptive strikes against anyone who believes anything other than its narrow construction of "The Truth" to be almost necessary.

Two flaws in their anti-Christian hatred analogy.
      The U.S. support of Israel.
The United States beach strorming @ Normandy.
As much as people want to deny this fact 80% of people in America are Christians proclaimed.
Anyway, I am a Christian and certainly an American patriot. I disagree with his belief that Christians Hate puke. However, a true Christian not only Cowtow to anothers faith to spare their feelings.

I think we confuse the political aspirations of the Catholic Church with people who have faith in Jesus Christ. Look at the Knights Templer, as the organization of control of trade to the east and so became very rich and had a lot of energy. It was a charitable organization or business .. While many of the Christian knights were wonderful individual that the organization was in it for the money. The holy and who brought the cult of Mary in our church were not Christians in any new power and money led his motives. They were not yet believers in Christ who survived and won the Spirit of God, although age. Christians never were in power at any place or who ever the world sees wealth wealth. But to see the Catholic church of the time and say that Christianity is false … IHS Jim

  13. Joanne H says:

This question is difficult to answer as posed. This reflects a profound misunderstanding of the nature of holiness and confusion over what actions are motivated by the religious impulse and those motivated by secular and social policy. I would not say that any large organization by humans is immune to any or either of these reasons are influenced by the other. But not even begin to answer the question that you need more and more the history of theology.
Belief in the holy church does not make policy, because the saints are not gods or demigods. The basic definition of a saint is someone who is in heaven. These people remain in communion with God and remain part of the rest of the body of the church. A 'pray' to a saint or Mary is not really a sentence. You are applying to join you in prayer to God, which is the only and ultimate creation, however much you can ask the church members who live to do the same.
The persecution of the Jews is a tragic evolution of a faith-based division. When the early church fathers wrote against Jews were in a sense complaining about the behavior of individual members of his own "family". As the Christian faith across geographic and ethnic lines of those writings became the basis of a Jewish point of view (set) as evil and others.
Crusades, could have spoken of a religious game to inspire the troops, but his motives were largely secular. The economic expansion financed wars, stopped the expansion of foreign land, got rid of the problem of excess minor children, and distracted from the problems of the civilian population. It is also revealing to note that the crusader forces not only focuses on non-Christians.
Read more non-fiction. Political histories and biographies of the post-Roman period can be surprisingly interesting (a lot of people of color) and the Arab veiw cross counters some of the points in your question.

  14. Bobby B says:

Throughout history, Satan has tried to kidnap the truth and put it on the door posts of religion, but they were all not be contaminated by false religious doctrines that were contaminating many movements that God was trying to accomplish.
It's kind of how wars are computer viruses every day. One day, virus protection scans are a head and the day after its creator could be a virus, which comes with them.
It has been through the story of Satan and God have tried to influence the men.
Therefore, there is only one way to tell who is a true Christian and who is to become one is not contaminated by the doctrines disguised lie and let the Spirit of God opens their hearts to the real truth.
God bless you, because you have seen the lies and makes close to the true revelation. Now we just have to kowtow to the true God and let me tell you who it is.

  16. shellylo says:

You are widespread and misunderstood Christianity. First, I do not deify the Virgin Mary or any of the other saints. I am a Christian who believes in the Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It is monotheistic in nature, because the Trinity is a single entity, not three separate gods. No one. Now, the wars in the name of religions, where Jews and Palestinians, or mulsims or Christians are all manmade. I do not worship or follow a man. Then I asked to support or explain to a man made war on the basis of my religious beliefs is counterintuitive. People have to stop looking for perfection in men on earth. It simply does not exist. Men make mistakes and always will. Religion tries to follow a path to self better. It forces us to accept the fact that we are imperfect, sinful creatures.
