Atheists, are you Catholic or Protestant before losing their religion?
This something I've wondered all my life and I do not know any Atheists to ask.
- Do you think Atheists will go to heaven even if you live a good life?
- So atheists, how do you explain Jesus correctly anticipating Protestant / Catholic war?
- How many Atheists When Raised Catholic? Protestant? Evangelical Protestant?
- Why the Protestant religion is superior to the Catholic Religion In The Time of Martin Luther?
- The Protestant religion is similar to the Catholic religion?

I was Catholic, not by choice, of course. I used to go to church with my dad every Sunday from 5 to 13 years. I never took anything the priest was saying and finally stopped going when I started doing other things on Sunday. I didn't immediately become an atheist, I wasn't interested in that side of things. Its only in the last 7 years (im 27 now) that I've thought and thought about all religions (or theories) and come to my conclusion.
Never lost it, I never agreed with it or believe, and now I agree and think less,
Protestants, technically

Lillian its OK, no offense taken, his words just gives me the impression that has not yet mean anything by it, and that's how it reads
Why do you assume that their religion has been lost, which means they could face if bothered to look?
They must realize that natural a state a priori, is not one to be Christian. You have to learn that.
Well, it seems so hard to make you just ask …
And atheists do not "lose" their religions, some of us had any to begin with. We are the only truly blessed!
I never had a religion to lose.
I have no recollection of ever believing in God (s).
there are religions other than the two mentioned above, for example. Judaism or Buddhism, which could have been any of those before he became an atheist
Generic Protestant.
I would rather shed. I happened to be Catholic.

I was a Protestant (Baptist).
Do you realize that other religions, alongside the two you mentioned there?
I never had any religion to lose. But I know that not all atheists are as fortunate.
I used to be Catholic. I loved going to church and be close to all my friends, I stopped believing in God.
I was Lutheran at the time, ie Protestant.
