Can you get a child baptized and outside the Church? Or the priests and nuns condemn an innocent …?
to burn in hell for eternity …. Firey according to Roman Catholic and Christian beliefs.
- If your child has recently baptized in the Catholic Church, do not give a donation?
- You should join the Catholic Church / To Go to be a Catholic confession or have your child baptized by a priest?
- Can a child born outside marriage be baptized?
- Is child sexual abuse by priests in the Orthodox Church as frequent as the priests in the Catholic Church?
- Why the Catholic Church condemn the Protestant Reformation?

I would never be in a religion that says that a baby who dies without having someone pour water over his head while saying a prayer would go to hell and burn for an eternity.
There has been a controversy about when one should be baptized. Does it have real meaning for you or are you serious? When you have your child baptized, made a commitment to the child in the ways of the Lord. Sprinkle water over the head of children is meaningless without a commitment that you or the child when he / she is of age choosing.
It seems a waste if not part of a church for the child baptized. You should find a church to raise her son to keep his promise to God in baptism.
Baptism is a personal decision that must be performed by a person who has become a believer in Christ is a symbol of our death, burial and resurrection in Christ and with him. Children who are baptized by the adults who belong to cults, like the Catholic Church was wrong to do so.
Baptism accompanies salvation.
I am a non-denominational Christian
P.S. The body of believers is the church, not a building.
Yes you can. One parent must be Catholic yet. In order to raise his son in the faith helps if a parent knows the faith.
Does one condemn you? Of course not. You could say that would be best for your child and yourself to follow God and keep His commandments, as requested of us all. The Catholic Church has, and has never condemned anyone to hell … which is only for God.
A friend of mine is getting his 4 year old baptized. She and her husband have lived together for years and recently married in court. They are expecting another child. Her husband is a Jehovah's Witness (but non-practicing) and she is Catholic, also the non-practicing. It is getting your child baptized, and not a member of the Church is getting baptized him in
If you are wanting to baptize a child normally in the church, then of course have to be a believer, and a vow to take their child in the Christian faith. If you can not make this commitment to honesty, then you should not ask for baptism for their child.
However, in emergencies, even when an unbaptized child is in danger of death, a valid baptism may be performed immediately by anyone who is available, even an atheist! There are only three conditions - that the flow of water over the head of the one being baptized (even a few drops get), that baptism is done 'in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit " and whoever performs the baptism intends to do what the Church does (in other words, a 'baptism' made in jest, or as an act, not valid).
Moreover, the Catholic Church recognizes that there may be situations where a child dies without baptism through no fault of their own. Formal education in this situation is that we know with certainty what will happen to that child, but we hope and trust that God in His mercy, not be denied the opportunity of salvation.
The following two quotations are from the Catechism of the Catholic Church and make the same points I made earlier.
"1256 The ordinary ministers of baptism and the priest and bishop in the Latin Church, also the deacon. If necessary, anyone, even non-baptized, can baptize, if you have the requisite intent. The intent required is the will to do what the Church when he was baptized, and to apply the Trinitarian baptismal formula. The Church finds the reason for this possibility in the universal salvific will of God and the necessity of baptism for salvation. "
"For the 1261 children who die without Baptism, the Church can only entrust them to the mercy of God, as it does in the funeral rites for them. In fact, the great mercy of God who wants all men to be saved, and Jesus' tenderness toward children which caused him to say: "Let the children come to me, do not hinder them," allow us to hope that there is a way of salvation for children who die without baptism. All the more urgent is the Church's call not to prevent little children coming to Christ through the gift of holy baptism. "
>> or go to the priests and nuns condemn an innocent man to burn in hell for eternity …. Firey according to Roman Catholic and Christian beliefs. <<
The Church teaches that the innocent burn in hell. By the time your child is old enough to burn in hell, she too will be old enough to choose baptism itself.
Not mentioned in the Bible one of the children to be baptized. Christians, according to their own scriptures, forgetting that Jesus himself was baptized in over thirty years by John the Baptist. Infant baptism was submitted by the Catholic Church to "rope in" and establish an "alliance" of the innocent and ignorant to gain power that has become today.
In order to finance the church, and the opulent life of the church leaders, who came up with the idea of "indulgence". In other words, if you give me money, I can get their loved ones from hell or mad man made concept of purgatory. Do you really believe in your heart that God let innocent children Firey burn in hell for a second, much less an eternity? If you had a child who did not know you, would you condemn such a fate?
Christianity / Islam paints a picture of God as a blind man to paint a portrait of himself.
The church has kept people in a grip of fear for centuries with their crazy notions of what God is and is not. If you have read the works of the fathers of the church you would see many of them were mentally ill, or just the right stupid.
To give you peace of mind, and get a true and honest history of the early Christian church, I would recommend Peter De Rose, Vicars of Christ. It is an excellent and honest work from a Jesuit priest!
In the Catholic faith of the parents must be Catholic. This is because when you baptize a child in the Catholic faith, like parents who are promising to teach children about faith and educate in the faith. If you are wanting to baptize a child in the Catholic faith and can not always be Cathoic attending an RCIA program. Go to UIOGD.org and to help you connect with the local RCIA program. UIOGD.org do all the footwork for you. God bless …
Not that the child would not be doomed to hell fire. As Catholics, we believe in the mercy of God and not believe that a child who is not baptized are not going to hell. We also believe that someone called baptism of desire. In case if you desire to be baptized and have not yet (or in this case, the desire of his son) and you or the child dies before baptism because you desired, it is. Hope this helps …
Why want a child or batpised. depending on age. wil inherit the kingdom of children, this can be found in Matthew of the Bible tells them that the kingdom is theirs. when he / she is old enuff to make a logical decision full then detrmine if they can be saved or not ..
You know not of which you speak, the Christian belief that there is an age of accountability that the child has heard and rejected the gospel, below the age of all go to heaven as gods promise is never too late to anyone can turn around and accept! Baptism does not save, Jesus does.
Today, you have to be a practicing member of the church to get his son baptized, married and communion. Catholic are not as strict then.
No one can condemn a person except God.
Anyone who professes to know who is going to hell is wrong, we can not know what is at the heart of God.
But I know that unbaptized children go to hell, the Catholic Church does not teach that.
Any Christian can baptize a child, you can do it yourself.
One must belong to a church to be baptized. Baptism is not necessary to be a Christian. I regret that it has in this case.
Where I live the Catholic Church does not baptize a child if parents are not practicing Catholics.
John the Baptist baptized people in a river. No matter if you belong to a church or not.
Not only Catholics baptize infants.
Nice to donate and get your Baptizm on Saturday! I think they have drive through windows Baptizm in some churches.
