Sure, you can confess to God, he will understand if you feel uncomfortable confessing to a priest. But just so you know, priests do not have to account for their sins once we confess, sins are gone, are not sins because you have asked for forgiveness and God has forgiven.

Well it is a mortal sin, and as such must be confessed. You have already repented, and the sound really sorry for what all that remains is to go to confession, if necessary, to all mortal sins.
Now, remember they are not the only 14 who have had to do this I imagine that most kids have to confess that at one time or another, myself included. I can guarantee that the priest not be surprised or shocked tell you nothing that hundreds of people who have not said before.

As a Catholic I answer this.
I know priests have heard everything. This is also a sin to be confessed. No priest will laugh at you for it. They will not judge you. If you do not use the pleasure masturbate use the word "I" of the phrase in a way that makes you feel comfortable, however, says the priest what you mean. Nobody said it needs to be graphic for this Sacrament. I confess, my priest prays and acquitted me.

When you go to confession, you have to tell the priest, or any valid confession, which in itself is a sin to be confessed. You're just digging a bigger hole if you do not tell the priest. Trust me, the priest has heard much worse. If you can not say the exact words, just say something like "as much as teenagers do when they are alone at night." He'll know what you mean. That's probably the number one sin confessed by adolescents. He hears it all the time.
