Catholics: How can I defend that the Blessed Virgin?

I'm a big Catholic Marian. Today, one of my best friends and I got into a disscussion about Mary, the mother of Jesus and our Mother too. She said that Mary Jane was half that he has committed sins. She thinks that Catholics have their too high.
I told him that the best way to reach Christ through his mother.
Can you help me convince her that the Blessed Virgin was sinless and that Catholics do not have their very high?
(She does not believe in saints, so I do not think that quotes from saints of work)

So God chose an average woman to be the mother of God? That makes no sense! Why then the Bible says we should call her blessed. That's a strange statement for someone who is only an average of person. What on the fact that she is called in Scripture, full of grace? How can a man be gracious and full of sin, at the same time? Ask what were the sins that the Blessed Virgin committed. If it was a sin vessel average, how could withstand the Passover lamb? After being chosen from among all women of all time and saved before she was born, how could he have sinned? How might the Savior of the world that grows in a vessel of sin and do not inherit the original sin of humanity that Jesus came to save us from? How can you keep someone in very high esteem that through obedience contributed to the salvation of mankind?
      In Christ
      Fr Joseph
      Note:
      Brother M,
The Mother of God need a Savior like everyone else the difference is that she was saved before birth in preparation for his role in the salvation of mankind. The paschal lamb of God had to be protected from original sin, lest they be less than perfect and in fact share the sin of mankind. Being that he is God, is almost impossible.
To believe that Mary was without sin is not dangerous doctrine, because that would mean that Jesus was born with original sin and can not be predicted and the paschal lamb is not the Messiah that the world expected. If humanity is still awaiting a Messiah. Is that your position?
To be without sin is to do a person to God. Nobody believes that Mary is a deity worthy of worship. John Wesley taught that one can reach a state of holiness of life. Calvin taught that all you have to do is believe in Christ and were consistently thereafter hallowed belief. Catholic Christians believe that one must be perfect to enter the kingdom of heaven and being in the presence of God. The Bible also teaches that St. John the Baptist was without sin so that the Blessed Virgin was not the only one born without sin according to Scripture. Why did not the Mother of God?
Another mistake made is that the nature of sin or "original sin" is not carried by the father but by the mother according to Jewish teaching on what would have been absolutely necessary for her to have been the recipient of the gods grace before his birth and been sanctified in the preparation of his role in the salvation of mankind. You are correct that is the servant of God and an example of obedience to God's will that we should imitate.
You are suggesting that the Church of Christ teaches that we must go through the Virgin to come to Christ and that charge could not be further from the truth of Catholic doctrine. Sense has never had the teaching of the Church.

Sorry, I can not help …
When the Bible says that Mary is the way to Jesus?
While we're at it, where in the Bible states:
-Called the "priest" father? I know where it says it should not:
"Do not call anyone on earth your father, for one is your Father, who is in heaven." (Matthew 23:9)
Those who need a "cure" (potato) for Christ? So if you're good, not only have to go through Mary to come to Jesus to God, but now the Pope has come for me to Jesus for me from God.
I could go on, but you are a sincere woman and I appreciate your heart. This doctrine that the church is feeding him wrong. That's why you can not "convince" your friend you're right … Your friend probably read the Bible and see that what he is saying is not true.
I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, my own spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened, that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, " what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints and what is the greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the operation of their power, which worked in Christ when he rose from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this century, but also what is to come.
Jesus is Lord, He is the only way to the Father, and so does not need it. Ask him, is listening.
      Blessings …

  3. Chris says:

Mary was a sinner who needed to believe in Jesus to not go to hell. She can not hear anyone "praying" for her. She no longer a virgin, and she can not save anyone.
The fact that Catholicism is idolatry that worships Mary is clear and obvious. Just watch the Catholic religion "papa" (which is not in the Bible) bow and speak with a statue he calls "Mary".
Catholicism teaches a false gospel of works ( "sacraments") that leads to eternal lake of fire (Galatians 1:6-9).

  4. BrotherM says:

"Please do not respond if you are going to write something against Catholics or Mary.
So you are not interested in truth?
Luk 1:46 And Mary said: My soul magnifies the Lord,
Luk 1:47 and my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Savior.
If Mary was sinless, why do we need a savior?
For that Mary was without sin is a dangerous doctrine. This is to raise their level of God. All human beings are born to a parent has a sin nature and sin. To say I was without sin, indicating that their father did not have a sin nature, and his father, and so on. She was a servant of God whom God used for a particular purpose. To say that we have to go through Mary to come to Christ is not biblical, there is nothing in Scripture that implies.
Hebrews 4:15 For we have a high priest not being able to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one that has proven in all aspects, in our likeness, yet without sin.
Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come with confidence to the throne of grace to receive mercy, and we can find grace to help in time.

You can educate your friend in Catholic dogma regarding Mary, but you can make your friend think so. "Part of the belief" is not you. The 'educate' the piece.
      This site:
      http://www.scripturecatholic.com
contains literally line by line explanations Catholic dogma that most often questioned by non-Catholic Christians.
You will find a lot of Biblical evidence to confirm everything that has to do with Mary and the prayer of intercession of the saints in general, and more.
Once again, most likely including the mountain of evidence you discover in scripturecatholic.com not convince his friend, but at least show that the Catholic beliefs and practices are biblical so much as they are logical.

  6. TDF says:

Original sin is our separation from God, as a result of the action of our first parents. Original sin means missing something that has to be fixed or repaired or redeemed. For you and me, this happens through baptism. But in the case of Mary, was given a gift. Never experienced separation from God that we do. She was born in the same state as Adam and Eve were free of original sin. That's why the angel Gabriel, when the health, registered in the first chapter of Luke, says: "Hail, full of grace" or "Hail, favored one." Mary full of grace God, in his favor. She was not estranged from God by sin. The grace of God preserved.
That's how God prepared her to say yes to design more importantly, the virginal conception of Jesus. In Luke 1, Mary says yes: "Let me according to thy word."
It may be difficult for some people to see how Catholics came to understand the place of Mary in salvation history. The seed of these beliefs are in the Bible (for example, in Luke 1, when Elizabeth calls Mary "mother of my Lord," = "Mother of God), but the conclusion is not always written in explicitly.
Here is a way of seeing. Is Jesus Christ, obey the Ten Commandments? Yes, of course! But Jesus did more than obey the commandments, played to perfection. And one of the commandments is that we should honor our father and mother. Jesus certainly did. But not only on earth. He is eternal Word of God, after all. He honored the Father of all time, and Christ is the only person I know who did his own mother. As counsel has said, if you could make your own mother, how good you want to do with it?
Well like I said, Christ perfectly fulfilled the commandments. The eternal Son of God, through whom all things were made, did honor to his mother even when he did. Was preserved from sin from the moment of conception so that he would not be touched by sin. This was not exactly unique. Adam and Eve were made in this state, so it's not unheard of.
Even now, now, Jesus, God continues to honor his father and his mother Mary. Because it fulfills the commands of our Lord and Savior is to honor Mary, his mother now in heaven (hence took her body and soul to be with him in heaven, not an established fact in the Bible, but highlights the early Church). Should not we do the same?
As his followers we are called to do what he did. Jesus himself is our model, to honor Mary of Nazareth, today. When Catholics honor Mary, we are only doing what the Lord has done and continues to do.
By Maria Jesus received his humanity. Through it, he received a human body. Mary, then, is the mother of Christ's body. That means she is the mother of you and me because we are in Christ, he is the head, and we are the body of Christ. So Mary is called Mother of the Church. Jesus shares with his mother who has brothers and sisters. Towards the end of the Gospel of John, chapter 19, Jesus reinforces this giving Mary to his beloved disciple.

The Muslims here gave you the most beautiful response. I doubt that Catholics could say it better. His sinlessness is based on the theology that she is the mother of God. Mary's daily messages come through visionary and can be found here on the Internet. (Majorgorie - spelling?). Ivan I have personally found some years ago. We exchanged another "Mir" to each other. Which means "peace".

  8. wannabsa says:

Will you show me a "Jane average" who has never committed a sin! Average of Mary? HA! Even if "medium" that was and is still a mother. Ask your friend who, when they grow up, if I wanted something, do not go ask him? (most of all we asked our mother, because we knew is that yes, if you listen hard enough) or it could soften father to us. It's no different with us asking Mary Catholic '! We know that since Jesus was man and God, which is sensitive to our 'human Ness. For Catholics who claimed that Mary "too high," Then what about the "quote Scripture that Hail Mary"? (It remains the Bible too high?) Scripture is quoted, except for last, "Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for U.S. sinners, now and at the hour of death. " (Please note that "request" to pray for 'us'. We do not pray to it, but ask for his help with praying for us. We honor and respect of his only way we should.

As a Muslim, I respect too much to Mary. I do not think that Mary has committed sins, after all, not Christian theology, why God chose her because she was so pure?
Maybe you should tell your friend the old saying "the way to a man's heart is through his mother." Or is through his stomach. I can not remember.

Christ is alive and in heaven ….
Mary falls asleep until the day of the trial, as everyone is dead ….
Mary was a good Jewish mother, who raised children with Joesph … she and Joesph were normal people in the house of David …
They are not talking or listening to one's prayer … that's not their job …. Work was her only parent to Jesus as a child …. They accepted and received Christ as their savior from the same as everyone else …
