The book is fiction and what he says. Dan Brown is a careless writer who stole the premise of Holy Blood, Holy Grail. Not a single thread of evidence to support his hypothesis. Theological, cultural, historical, makes no sense.

There is nothing that says no, and there is nothing saying they have no children of her own with Mary Magdalene. It is strange that notion in Christianity that Jesus never even thought of sex. However, I still thought he was fully human. Hm .. suggests.
My personal opinion is that Jesus had brothers and sisters, and that has everything that could have been married to Mary Magdalene. Why not? Jesus was a normal Jew of his time and place.

There is a point in one of the Gospels, where Jesus is quoted as saying something along the lines of "go and tell my mother and my brothers … bla bla bla "(Yes, I have the Carpenter yadda yadda. crucify me.)
Anyway, people say it is a reference to * real * brothers. The remained of the Mary the Virgin camp say they are Josephs children from a previous marriage. Riiiiight.

Well, when Mary was pregnant with Jesus, she was a virgin. Scripture tells us that she had other children. If she had a husband who had other children that no longer a virgin. What matter the weather Jesus slept with Mary M. If he did not sin. If he did this woman was his wife and was the only woman to deal with. After her sins were forgiven by Jesus himself was no longer a prostitute. I do not know if Jesus had married a woman, if he did, was irrelevant because it is not in the Bible, and again if he did, yet was without sin.

The Bible tells us that Jesus had four brothers: James, Joses, Simon and Jude
Matthew 13:55 (NIV)

The Bible also tells us that Jesus had sisters, but not the name or number

56 Are not all his sisters with us? Whence then hath this man all these things? "

46 While Jesus was speaking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to talk to him.
Acts 1:14 (NIV)
14 All they united in prayer constantly, along with women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.

Yes, Jesus had half brothers and sisters. And for future reference, the Catholic Church has not existed for thousands of years, and the Da Vinci Code is a fiction based on the work out of another fiction book Holy Blood, Holy Grail.

Joseph, James and John were Jesus' biological brothers, but Jesus only called on their brothers and / or family members who were in the mission he does the will of our Father in Heaven ……. That is why we should not let any family member shall separate us from the love of God and do God's will and, when we love God in total capacity, we understand this concept ….
