He just said that you could ask that (silly) question in 2007, in order to be happy, laughing at your question!

  2. Zag says:

Which means we must come to him with the innocence of a child. As adults, we believe we know a lot and can be as judge and stubborn (as shown in the second half of your question) that we often miss the basic truths that are placed before us. A child is so loving and trusting and we should be.

Children go to their loving parents in search of peace, welfare, housing, and joy.
Please … Do not make fun of El Salvador of humanity.
Catholism all know that has been damaged.
      God is immutable

Jesus said "Suffer the little children come unto me" And it's really a shame that some Catholic priests did these things!

  7. Gerry says:

no he was not. said that because he was making the point that the pure faith of children is the kind of faith that are supposed to have.

Humility is not cuz you want hard heart not to listen …

In theological terms, an adult is any person who has attained the age of reason. A "child", of course, does not have.
Because children have not yet reached the age of reason, they are innocent and trusting. They believe that God, the teachings of his church, no doubt.
Adults, having reached the age of reason, tend to think too much and the car is very skeptical of Truths relgiious. This often creates a barrier for adults when it comes to believing that God and follow his teachings.
Jesus says: "Come to me like a baby" in the sense that they want adults to be so confident of God, such as children.

  13. MotherMa says:

Doing research in the past, I discovered that he meant that we were "born again" to think like a child. To be so innocent and pure as one and then be accepted. This is the "born again" Christianity.
From a critical standpoint, it meant that children are naive (which are easily indoctrinated theism, after all) and therefore wanted to be like adults to children in the sense of being deceived as easily as they .
      Make your choice.

No, it was a Catholic priest.
He said a bad tree can not bear good fruit or good tree bring forth evil fruit.
      As to your question,
      Mat …. ….
1.At same time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
2.And Jesus called a child to him and put him in their midst,
3.And said, Verily I say unto you, do not be converted, and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
4.Whosoever therefore humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
5.And Who will receive one such child in my name receives me.
6.But who scandalize one of these little ones which believe in me, be better for him that a millstone around his neck, and that he were drowned in the depths of the sea.
7.Woe the world because of offenses! for it must be that offenses come, but woe to that man by whom the offense cometh!
      ====================================== …
You see Jesus never hurt the children.
I pray that you will receive an answer in kindness.
      God bless you my friend.
