Do you think the Roman Catholic Church …?

…. dominates, dictates every move of the government, collect donations from a developing country and give the Vatican, that even without paying taxes, never assume the responsibility of each government gives finally the members of the church (priests, etc) never experienced up at 2 am in the morning to prepare a bottle of milk for a baby who cries?

<<Do you think the Catholic Church …? …. dominates government dictates every move,>>
      "The" government? What government?
      <<collect of development grants country>>
The church collects donations to charity of Catholics in every country, not just developing.
      <<and to give the Vatican>>
99% of the money raised stays in a particular Catholic parish in the parish. A fraction of the rest goes to the diocese in which the parish lies.
Similarly, money collected in the Vatican - the Vatican.
      <<without even paying taxes,>>
The church is tax exempt. If you disagree with this, you beef with Governments policy is to allow churches to be tax exempt.
<<never assume responsibility for all the dictates of government,>>
I have no idea what that means. . .
<<finally any (priest Church members never experience etc) up at 2 am in the morning to prepare a bottle of milk for crying baby?>>
"Members of the" Church? I am a member of the Church, and have experienced rising 2 a.m. ATY to feed a baby crying!

Uhm, no - and what they get up in the middle of the night to fix a bottle has to do with conspiracy theories? We are the largest charity in the world, there are plenty of nuns who stands in the middle of the night to feed babies in orphanages.
Scratches his head and walks away. . .

at a time in history, the Catholic Church had control over most of Europe and Russia, and parts of South and North America
a great amount of control that ended with the fall of the Roman Empire
and was further weakened by the Reformation of Martin Luther
and finally, most killed by Henry 8

    1) Do you think the Catholic Church …?
…. dominates government dictates every move
Obviously not. If they did, the laws prohibiting fornication, adultery and homosexual relations would still be in the books. Divorce also outlawed (as it is still in some predominantly Catholic countries).
      2) collect donations from a developing country
      And third countries.
      3) and give the Vatican, that even without paying taxes
Well, some of that money, yes. Most religious sects do the same - to collect tax-free money and send one part to the seat. Catholics are not alone, and certainly not the oldest religion to practice this.
      4) does not assume responsibility for all the dictates of the Government
Well … duh! Do you? Why * that *?
      5) Finally, members of the church (priests, etc) never experienced up at 2 am in the morning to prepare a bottle of milk for a baby who cries?
Who told you that and why do you think? Lots and lots of Catholic orphanages, you know …. And where do you think of negligence or Roman Catholic mothers desperate to leave their unwanted babies? The steps of the church, of course …. I guess the average Catholic priest has done more for bottle feeding that the average man.

No, do not think the RC church dominates the government. Most of the leaders of my government are Protestant. Yes, enjoy the non-profit status and tax benefits that go along with that. Moreover, many church members as deacons, with children.

  7. Paul Hxyz says:

The United States did not even elect a Catholic president until 1960. The U.S. government not run by the Vatican. The Vatican is run by the Vatican. If the U.S. government was directed by the Vatican, why is abortion legal in the U.S.? No - I think not.

  8. Abby says:

Yes, I'm pretty sure my parents got up to 2am to feed me when I was a baby. I am also certain that the Vatican has nothing to do with the U.S. government or any other countries. Where the hell did you get this question?
