My question ... Mary was a sinner? The Catholic Church has its origins in Rome at a time when goddess worship was very common ... (Roman mythology). The state of Rome declared to be joined (married) itself to the Christian religion in an attempt to defeat their enemies. Many in the church refused to participate in this unholy union and were persecuted by the new church "Catholic" unless you convert and submit to the rule of a pope.

Unfortunately, some people are too immature spiritually to accept that someone could interpret the Bible differently, and automatically label any others do as sinful. Catholics are still a number of traditions that are not explicitly mentioned in the Bible, but worship is worship. There is no shame in finding a different way to the adoration of his neighbor. It's just plain bigotry - is passed (both sides) since the 1600s when the Protestant church split.

Are not all religions somehow hypocritical? Could not the lack of another religion, if I belonged to another. They interpret the Bible to the extent possible and try to live what they think God wants. Of course not everyone will agree, all sacred books are so confusing and full of contradictions. The problem with all religions is that they are seen as absolute and unaccepting of different viewpoints. Believing in God, if you want but at least admit that I do not know, you're just after a personal belief.

First, God never said that those in heaven have eternal life. He said those who are with him may have eternal life. Not specifically the meaning of heaven, but to bring their laws and their presence with them, his teachings in writing in the tables of our hearts and after them. Regarding the second part of Him being God of the living and the dead do not mean that the spiritual life, and spiritually dead. He said clearly that he is a jealous God, and asking the saints and of Mary of the support you are doing what He said he did not make in Exodus 20:3-5 (in part) "Do not worship any other god besides me. "Do not make idols of any kind ... must never worship or bow down to them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God who does not share the affection with any other god !..." When you ask the prayers of the saints, we hope that will help in any situation where you are and wait patiently for it. With friends and family sometimes do not expect them to. His faith in them, but can be less than their faith in a higher power because they are human beings after all.

Ahem, KJV Bible was not written until 1611. Ignorance is bliss ................................... Until 1829, when it passed the Catholic Emancipation Act, Catholics could not support the Parliament in the UK, or even vote. A Catholic can not buy or sell a horse more than 5 pounds, hence the saying, "I give five pounds to his horse, is still considered an insult in contemporary Ireland. Catholics were discriminated against in Ulster until very recently. Catholics still can not ascend the throne in the UK, nor any member of the Royal Family to marry a Catholic.

I enjoy all the fundies have problems with us are: A) A problem with a belief or practice that is not really Catholic, and in many cases, even an offense which can lead to excommunication. (like the cult of Mary) or B) On the basis of a flagrant twisting of Scripture. (eg, trying to imply that Jesus is the only mediator has nothing to do with prayer) I guess that's what you get when people's egos get inflated as to think that they know better than the year 2000 an old institution ...

My husband is Catholic, my father was Catholic, my family by my father is Catholic, but my mother was Pentecostal. I grew up Pentecostal, so that you and I are quite different at the ends of the rainbow, lol. I studied Catholicism and the major problems I have with it is that many of the traditions and rituals of the church that you are not in the Bible. And I think that is very dangerous territory when you include something that is not in the Bible. I do not like the idea that the Pope, I think it has elevated itself to a place that should not be. Think about it, Jesus came to this earth, was a carpenter, was not rich, and was not liked by most of its peers. Just look at the Pope's clothes! He is not humble at all! My problem is definitely not the Catholics, I love all fellow Christian, but has a serious problem with how much power the church has on its people, and more of the name. And seriously, I ask you to look online for images of people bow down and kiss the feet of the giant statues of saints. I think the Catholic church has many problems as any other church, but still recognize you as brothers and sisters in the Lord. God bless you, and hope it does not offend you.

Catholics are not "born again". Since they do not adhere to a vague interpretation of a passage from the book published for years, which must be evil. Religion is funny. ... As the 2-week-old fish funny.

Before becoming Catholic, had always thought that was the fact that they could celebrate Mass every day. I had always thought that was only on Sundays. It's amazing some of the things we take as truths. I am very pleased that the Mass is celebrated every day. It makes me stronger in faith. In studying the Catechism and learned the real explanations of things so much more sense. I suggest (because I'm a convert) a person takes the time to learn what the other person of faith is really all about. Learn the truth about their faith and not propaganda about it. When I do it reaffirms my faith and not threaten it.

Well, the Eucharist is bad. Hebrews 10:10 tells us that Jesus sacrificed his body once and for all. Saying that the Eucharist wafer literally becomes the body of Christ, He is, literally, sacrifice themselves every Sunday. In addition, you can not say that the treatment of Mary is unbiblical, and I think that rape in idolatry. 1 Timothy 2:5 tells us that there is one mediator between man and God, who is the mediator of Jesus Christ. You believe in prayer with Mary, you are getting your broker to us, the United Nations, which is so blatantly-biblical. Moreover, the belief that Mary had a hand in salvation, no matter how small, is disgusting and if you have some knowledge of the Bible has to admit it. Moreover, no man has the capacity to forgive their sins. This goes back to the "one mediator" argument again. The confession, therefore, it is also unbiblical. Moreover, the idea that the pope goes back to the "one mediator" argument. Should I continue?
