You defend change almost 2000 years of theology, faith and tradition to people who are not even agree with Catholicism will be more comfortable? The Catholic faith is not about building a way of worship that is acceptable for non-Catholics, God is about worship in the manner determined by Christ, the Apostles and Apostles' successors. Please do not worship other people, we worship to please God.   Having a Catholic education available to all adults is a wonderful idea. Now available, in fact, through the RCIA program. I doubt he ever would see any of the people who believe the myths of the class, however. I doubt he would never see any of them set foot in a Catholic church, nor do I think you should hopefully convince them to do so.   Once in a great while, I was able to convince a Protestant friend firmly to attend Mass with me. Each time, after Mass, the first words of his mouth are a variant of "I can not believe as a Christian it was!" If people really take the time to learn about Catholicism * * Catholics and see what we want first, I am absolutely sure that hate us. So let me see if I understand correctly. We are delighted with it as far as it relates to the person of our Divine Savior, that is, to the extent that He died for our sins in this wood.   However, the cult of latria not directed to wood, but our Lord God.   The reverence we owe to the Holy Mother of God is called hyperdulia, which means it is greater than the veneration due St.s all together, because of her fullness of grace and perfection of holiness.   She is also holy because of her relationship with our Divine Savior, and it is her divine motherhood, which is the basis of all prerogatives of others.   However, the veneration of hyperdulia we owe it not a right relative but absolute.   We do not worship as God, but worship that is so, while we worship the cross just because it's our cross Divine Savior, which redeemed the world.   Therefore, it is perfectly true that we worship the wood of the cross, but do not worship Mary, although it is infinitely greater than the wood of the Cross considered in itself.
