Practices and traditions of the Catholic Church have been conceived by man. The Bible itsself is open to interpretation. Some see it as metaphorical, while others have their own interpretations too literally. One thing is certain. This is not a contest of knowledge. While I am not a religious man, I understand that such a division between people is not exactly what Jesus would have wanted. I also think it would refute the practice of any and all churches in extistence today. Do not take this wrong, but much of Christianity, while claiming to follow the teachings of Jesus, keep an empty hole on the surface than they really tried to teach.

1) The sacrament of confirmation rests with the tongues of fire (Acts 1:4-8) (Acts 1:15-26), etc. 2) I found a Bible study to be useful to learn the basics. Good luck.

You ask all these questions, which confirmed what is? Do not you know? I was a Catholic at a time. Now I am a Christian to love Jesus.
