The Catholic Church believes that homosexuality is unnatural, and that is an abomination to God. No church many preach that homosexuals themselves are bad, but the act of homosexuality is an "abomination." I'd say if this particular church is telling people that homosexuals are evil and should be hated, then I suggest you stay away from that specific church. I would never put a Christian with a wolf in sheep's clothing, and I never wear the same label Muslims as you would with the terrorists. Yes, if the church says that homosexuals are evil and should be hated, then I agree with you. However, if they are just saying that homosexuality is wrong, that's just stating his opinion, there is nothing wrong with that.

No, we love everyone unconditionally. But love does not mean acceptance. If you love your children then punished when they have done wrong, is when you do not love their children that allows them to do whatever they want. We love everyone unconditionally and that includes homosexuals, but that does not mean in any way that we accept their lifestyle. That is not love. Many people today equate acceptance with love, but true love is to want that person to go to heaven, even if that means being tough with them. The love of God is divine and yet, and punished the Israelites for their sins. Love is acceptance, love is truly caring and the welfare of a soul.

No. The truth is that most people do not understand the Catholic Church teaching on homosexuality. Created in the image of the one God and equally endowed with rational souls, all men have the same nature and origin. Redeemed by the sacrifice of Christ, all are called to participate in the same divine beatitude: all therefore enjoy an equal dignity. The Catholic Church believes that there is nothing sinful about being gay. But like all unmarried homosexual persons are called to celibacy. The Church specifically says that homosexuals "must be accepted with respect, compassion and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided. " Here is the text of the document on the pastoral care of homosexual persons (1986): http://www.newadvent.org/library/docs_df ... For more information, see the Catechism of the Catholic Church, section 2357-2359: http://www.usccb.org/catechism/text/pt3s ... With love in Christ.

Let me explain, if anyone u love u a lot so I do not want this person to be sent to the fire of hell and suffering is not it? If U See ur kid smoking for example, u dont want to be addicted and sick because of this custom, so out of love u will try to help him, and allowing you to smoke is not the way forward, obviously So yes gay love, but despise what they do and prevent them from doing so because they are hurting themselves in this life and the next. That's love, to help each other to reach the heavens! God willing

It's one of those things that everyone knows but never mentions. Like the elephant sitting in the living room, and nobody says anything. It's a big steaming pile of hypocrisy.
