I want to go to church but do not know the right one to join?
So I start going to church, but do not know what religion or to go to church because what each religion believes in different things, as they say you can not celebrate the holidays and that the symbol of the cross is against God and the Catholics who worship Mary i heard that is against God as honestly do not know what to believe and what is true or false, or what the Bible says I am very attached to the church to where to go.

If you are interested in joining or simply learning more about the Catholic Church, contact your local parish and ask about his research group RICA.
You can go and ask any question you want.
This is the first step in RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults), but it may stop at any time.
There is no obligation to convert to Catholicism.

With love and prayers in Christ.
Well first, the investigation itself.
Catholics do not worship the Virgin Mary. They revere it, or have very highly. There is no cult of Mary. Catholics worship God.
I am Syrian Orthodox. My church is simliar to the Catholic church, but not as many strict rules and interpretations. We are very open. But for you, I suggest you research the difference in these types of churches. The main thing we are looking for Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox front. There are different theological beliefs. Feel free to attend the various services as well and see that you feel more comfortable.
You say you want to go to the "church", but then I do not know what "religion" to go. So, does this mean that you are looking outside of Christianity? You sound very confused and if you do not know what the Bible says, it will be very difficult for you to tell the differences between the churches you visit.
I would suggest 1) research of religions online and 2) start reading the Bible (which can even be done online or using an online Bible reading plan). Then start visiting some churches to get an idea of what you like and dislike.
Join one that is based on the Bible and Christ centered non-centered — Mary as the Catholic Church if the church tries to talk over Mary that Jesus stands in front of everyone and leave in protest. . . . wait a second protest. . . . . Protestant. Yes, attend a Protestant church, or better yet, an evangelical church that is non-denominational
Somewhere in the Bible preaches. Everything else is man's opinion.
Evangelical churches and things that say "Bible" in them are often a good bet, but I pray and ask that Christians can know.
If you live around me are invited to my church, it's awesome! I always walk away encouraged and fired in my walk with Christ.
I advise going to a nondenominational Christian church. They go by the Bible only and have no ridiculous rules that some organized religions. You can even join a fellowship group of age and make great friends. Good luck.
There is a great little quiz I suggest you take BeliefNet.com. It is a very accurate test that gives an idea of where their religious beliefs.
Also, check out Unitarian Universalism, which lets you have your own set of moral and spiritual beliefs and still consider yourself States.
Moreover, as a former Catholic, let me take you directly to Mary … she is not worshiped. It is considered a saint and a person who prayed and asked for help much as you ask your mother to ask her father for a favor, is worshiped and adored as God is, by any means.
The symbol of the cross is not contrary to God in some way, but in reality is a reminder of the sacrifice of Jesus, according to Christians.
It sounds like you want some kind of Christian church, for their comments, so my suggestion is, take the quiz, and visit some churches that belong to the category that says you may be more compatible and see what happens. Visit many different churches, you never know what might hit the right chord.
Probably should do some research online. Many religions have their beliefs listed online, choose one that rings true to you, then you can see that it names and start visiting the churches.
This is not something that someone else can answer for you, all we can say our churches are the best, but only you know what a good choice for you.
Pray. Sounds stupid, but if you really want to find the right church for you then ask God to help you find it. Is likely to send someone to you. You may not realize that you sent. It can be a coworker who is religious or a neighbor who invites him to a church function. Investigate the different churches, go to church and no real research on the web or through other people. I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons) and do not think the crazy people who believe in things just do not understand why people think of a church the name of Jesus would worship Satan, or someone else.
So pray, and you may be surprised by the way you get your answer.
Before you go and do what I want to answer this question.
Religion is from God that was created by man?
There are many religions in this world and each is as filthy rags before God.
Pure faith that God gives is the opposite of religion … and this is what you should look. You will not find any church is religious.
John 3:3-5 means, "If someone wants to be reborn, be born of water and the Spirit. The water here means baptism of Jesus, which destroys all the sins of the world once and for all. The Spirit meant that Jesus, who received the baptism of John the Baptist is God himself. "
Catholics are the original Christians. We belong to the church that Jesus Christ established in 33AD. We do not worship Mary. Only worship God
Try some Baptist churches. Usually the doctrine of friendship and have sound, based on the Bible.
John 3:16
Pray to God and ask him, obviously afraid.
Try different churches, then, to know his sh in the right.
life is short
Why waste going to church?
Do not just visit the churches, and "then you'll know." No way. Some Bible study. begin with the Gospel (of Jesus - Matthew, Mark, Luke, John). if you read a verse and do not understand, you can use a Bible study for more information or you can Google and receives a lot of options. anyway, it is important to know Jesus and then choose a church. How else will you know which to choose? I could tell you to go to my "name" and others might say you choose yours, but ultimately you must make that decision, and the only way to know is to know the Lord himself, so you know when they are being deceived - then wipe the dust from the church to take off their shoes and try another.
Most importantly, studying the Bible, pray for understanding.
Also, there are some great websites out there that answer the questions Bible as bible.com, gotquestions.org, etc. can also read the Bible online if you do not have one available in bible.com or many other sites.

Jesus Christ died for our sins, Mary gave birth, but by no means the Bible that says to worship or pray with her.
And besides, his church is where you want to be, by a stream or a large rock in a meadow, or in your living room. And even better in bed at night before bedtime.
You can talk to their Savior Jesus Christ at any time, any place, anywhere by your self, no priest needed.
But if you need social interaction, try several churches. But before settling in any church, pray for him, is most important, God will take you to where you have to be if that is where he wants to be.
And besides, you can not look to man for his role model in either the church or outside, as all fall short of what should be because we are human and sinners. For this reason, God sent his only son to die for us to Redemtion for our sins. I just try to be the best they can be every day, wherever you are, or what you can do.
The Holy Spirit is with you once we accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and always forgives you regret regularly and try to be better every day.
God bless you for your questions
Linda - Christian 51 years
You question gives me chills delicious, just because the same question was asked a year, a 14 years in the spring of 1820. It was the same situation as you. He did not know that the church was wrong, or if they were all wrong. They all had different beliefs and contradictory. So one night he found a scripture in the Bible, James 1:5 "If any of you lacks wisdom, ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and will be given." This Writing was emphasized so strongly to him, he decided that he would do just that. God decided he would ask. I will say that the end of the story, only that his prayer sincere and open heart, opened a gateway of Christ and through him the true church was restored again to this land. If you know the rest of the story can be found almost anywhere, but here is a good place. http://www.prophetjosephsmith.org/joseph …:)
Therefore, I challenge you to do the same. Pray and ask God with the sincere intention and an open heart and he will teach you what the church must come together. And the Holy Spirit bears witness with you too, if successful. So keep an open mind and a prayer in his heart, and consider what I said.
I was born into my religion and they told me was true and that each individual had his own testimony and knew it was true. But I wanted to know for myself and so I did what He did, and asked with faith and with an open heart and I have my answer. I know my religion and the church is true. I felt a sense of peace happens to me, the Holy Spirit witness testified that a witness me.I unwavering strength of my religion and my church I know without a doubt, now that is the restored gospel of Christ and that is the true church. And I can not, never denied it.
