Like many other "relics" are faked by the Vatican to people to join there with cult?

Among the most revered relics of the Catholic Church were the pieces of the "true cross". So many of these were dispersed throughout Europe and elsewhere that Calvin once said that if all the pieces were assembled, form a good cargo ship, however, the cross of Christ was taken by one individual! Are we to believe that these pieces miraculously blessed as when Jesus multiplied the loaves and fishes? Such was apparently the belief of St. Paulinus, who spoke of "the reintegration of the" Cross, ie "never grew smaller in size, no matter how many pieces were detached from it"! Its probably all false, why God wants us to appreciate a cloth with a stain that resembles the face of Jesus? How does that make us more spiritual?

First, only part of the Cross was brought to the site. Second of a whole, not sure if any of these are pieces of the True Cross. The Vatican has never ruled on this issue. Until you do not accept it as such. They continue to be protected and maintained in the case.
      Peace be with you,

The Vatican itself has probably not more counterfeit relics. I think it's much more likely that bishops, priests, and vendors who travel to. People who want money and prestige are the most prone to false relics. For this reason, the relics in general do not take mission trips, but are either kept in churches where pilgrims going to offer money or sold to several members of the faithful who would like something sacred. Thus, counterfeit relics of saints is really more of a money-making operation of a conversion effort.
