.. Misunderstandings in the Catholic faith?
Exodus 20:4
Thou shalt not make thee any graven image any, or any likeness of what is in heaven, or is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
Mary is all about the Catholic churches. These are the idols.
Mary was as saintly as he was a sinner like all other babies.
Catholics pray to Mary. Catholics pray to saints. They say Mary or the saints to talk to God for them. I believe that worshiping false idols:
Jesus, the Massiah is the one who died for us what we should worship and pray with him 100%. Why are all the other things that interfere with our walk with God?
I think it's a distraction that the devil sends.
Why Catholics must follow the priests and confess their sins to a priest? The priest is not God, he is human like us. The only way I can be forgiven of sin is to confess your sins to God and ask forgiveness, not the church:
The Bible says, call no man master, the Holy Spirit will guide all your ways,

After studying theology in reality this is a controversial topic in the history of the Christian church. The Eastern Church rebelled against the images of Mary and the saints during the time of iconoclasm, regarding them as false idols. In the Catholic Church, the issue is avoided by the distinction of "cult" and "reverence." The saints and Mary are worshiped as God is worshiped. Official Catholic theology holds that Mary, the Communion of Saints, and priests are intercessors in a sense, that is, when someone prays to a saint or Mary, a channel that people pray to God, but it is noteworthy that take no As you might have another effect. Like the Eastern Church, Martin Luther also included the veneration of saints and Mary as being incompatible with Scripture.
My dear, look what I said, "As Good as Mary, who was a sinner like everyone else born. But to be holy is to be without sin. You have the answer within your own question.
Instead of focusing on what is seen as idolatry, try giving it some thought and prayer to understand the holiness of Mary … Why was it necessary for her to be "full of grace" and without sin, to carry within it the second Person of the Trinity … and how was that, while the apostles bore witness to the Word of God, Mary carried the Word.
Leave the other things go for a while and reflect just that. Because understanding the holiness of the saints, including Mary, including all that the Church has canonized and many more whose names we know, is the key to why people who are part of the body of Christ and unite them our prayers to theirs … all in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
+ + The Saints
Before Jesus Christ died for our sins and opened the gates of heaven there are no saints in heaven. Therefore, there is no Old Testament writings mentioned.
Very few of the new Christians died before most of the New Testament was written. Therefore there is little in the Bible about asking saints to pray for us.
However, the last book of the Bible speaks of the saints in heaven praying.
Revelation 5:8: Each of the elders held a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
Revelation 8:3-4: You gave a lot of incense to offer, along with the prayers of all saints, the golden altar which was before the throne. The smoke of incense with the prayers of the saints ascended before God from the angel's hand.
The Holy Spirit guides the early Church in many things that are not explained in the Bible, including how the Body of Christ (believers) living on Earth relate to the Body of Christ (the saints) living in heaven. We are still one Body.
Catholics share the belief in the Communion of Saints with many other Christians, including Orthodox, Anglican, Episcopal, Methodist and Church.
The Communion of Saints is the belief that all saints are intimately related in the Body of Christ, a family. When one dies and goes to heaven, do not go to this family.
Everyone in heaven or on their way to heaven are saints, you, me, my late grandmother, Mary the mother of Jesus, Mother Teresa and Pope John Paul II.
As part of this family, you can ask your family and friends living here on earth to pray for you. Or you can ask the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Andrew, or your deceased grandmother living in heaven to pray for you.
Prayer to the saints in heaven is simple communication, not worship.
And the prayer of the saints is optional and not required.

+ + The ordained clergy
The hierarchy of ordained ministers of the Catholic Church reflects how Jesus and the Apostles set up the early Christian church.
There are three levels of the Order, deacon, priest and bishop.
The bishops are apostles today. Each carries a diocese. Special types of bishop are archbishop, cardinal and pope (who leads the whole Church).
Priests are collaborators of the bishops and can lead a parish. A special title for a priest is Mgr. Priests are called presbyters in the Bible.
Deacons assist the bishop and priests in the celebration of the Eucharist, the distribution of Holy Communion, in assisting and blessing marriages, in proclaiming the Gospel and preaching, in presiding over funerals, and engage in the various ministries of charity.
+ Reconciliation (Confession) +
The Catholic Church believes that "Only God forgives sin."
When a penitent person asks God for forgiveness, his (or her) sins are immediately forgiven.
Catholics also believe that when the sins of someone who not only hurt your relationship with God, but also damage to the whole church, the body of Christ.
Jesus said, "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. And whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven ". (Matthew 16:19)
And having said this he breathed on them and said, "Receive the Holy Spirit. Who sins you forgive they are forgiven, and whose sins you retain are retained. "(Luke 20:22-23)
Oral confession of sins, it is recommended again and again in the Old and New Testaments:
+ James 5:16
+ Acts 19:18
+ Matthew 3:5-6
+ Mark 1:5
+ 1 Timothy 6:12
+ 1 John 1:9
+ Numbers 5:6-7
+ Nehemiah 9:2
+ Sirach 4:26
The Sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation with a priest ordained in the name of Jesus Christ not only reconciles the sinner with God, but with the whole Church, including you and me.

+ With love in Christ.
woship is only for our God.
we pray for the intercession of the present with Christ at the moment - the saints martyers, etc.
statues and images are not idols - If so, then it is better than gt rid of their family photos. they had no camera and as back then - these were created in memory of ….
we are told that tongue confess that Christ gave His disciples the ability to forgive or retain the envelope.
never heard of the Bible, saying not to call a teacher of man - better warn the school system) is actually the father. however, that is how our Heavenly Father, even in the 10 commandments of the parents is called the Father, we are also told to pray for the elderly and parents and siblings.
There are a lot of questions, so do not go into full detail with Scripture and verse, but can if you want - Just ask. But just so you know, all beliefs Rcc can be found in the Bible, clearly indicated some others indirectly. Scripture itself points to an authoritarian church and tradition. St. Paul points out in his second letter to the Thessalonians - firm and hold the traditions which were taught by us, either by word or letter. Here are some scriptures to see 2 Thessalonians 2:15, 1 Corinthians 11:2, 2 Thessalonians 3:6, 2 Timothy 1:13-14, 2:2.
So if the Catholics are wrong for "following priests," then I guess you're perfect and not "follow" their pastor, right? Fair is fair after all. And for the record, Catholics do not worship the Virgin Mary or any of the saints, who worship them. In other words, is held in high esteem, that's different than worshiping them. If you've ever gone to her pastor and asked him or her to pray for you and turned to him for guidance, which could not be considered cult following for his condition?
Thus, the prayer to Mary is idolatry, but pray your child is not?
Newsflash Einstein, which reads "to" any image is idolatry, even if that image is supposed to be a part of the trinity.
