Only people in a religion go to heaven?

with so many religions out there, I only sing for helping to think about how hard it is to choose the one that will give people the salvation … God's will really only accepting a particular religion? Why? everyone in every religion believes that theirs is a party, how can one even know that for sure? and .. What if ur Christian (Protestant) and Catholic … the only difference is that they do not praise .. Virgin Mary that will cause them to go to hell ?…….
………………….. What about those who are good, doing good deeds … however, does not practice any religion …. go to hell ?………….
……………………………….. … Is there any way of knowing ?????. …………………… What can be done to strengthen spiritually, but do not know what religion to choose …….. ……..

Buy the book A Course in Miracles.
It shows you how to approach God without the nonsense of religion.
One must ask how they can be the true and only correct way to God.

No, no way of knowing until they die. Personally, I believe that Buddhism, Taoism and Native American religion (? - Or should I say practical?) Makes more sense. Try it, too. It would probably be good for you to take some courses in religion and get some background on them.

  3. Disciple says:

Anyone, regardless of religion, who accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, repented of his sins, and obey the teachings of Jesus Christ and his disciples go to heaven, no matter what religion or title say are.

A religion? No, not too likely that people who only a religion. Now, one faith, which is much more likely. The people in heaven will have had a belief in one true God, so this means pre-Jesus has followed the teachings of the Lord (Hebrew for God), after Jesus and those who have to put their faith in he. So basically the potray God in the Bible. Being loyal to him and following his ways would be key to enter heaven.
Now nescarliy not follow a particular religion. I mean, some people call Christianity a religion, but more of a movement. And many people in the religion to be "Christian" custom quite make the cut. It's sad. But when God says he is the way … Well, when your child says he is the way to the Father, which leaves little space.

  5. House Speaker says:

Religion is traditional concepts of man who is God and not the truth. Every religion has one thing in common, can not save us from sins. Only Jesus saves. Religion was created by men in Jesus' name, ignoring the deeper truths that Jesus lived and preached.

  6. swordark says:

I think we all spend a little too much time looking at the shiny surface of the religion instead of the spiritual goals means achieving real. How to get to heaven is a great goal, for sure. But that's just the shiny surface.
Does anyone really understand the point of religion more? IMO, it's all about becoming the strip * * benefits. The rewards. Go to heaven, being in the right of * team receives special attention from the creator or virgin or whatever.
IMO, the point is to develop a personal * relationship with the deity. A personal relationship does not mean more than you and the deity. There is a church or a pastor or minister or whoever. Not even a definite religion! The best way to find the right religion for you is to find a way to help you develop that relationship with the deity.

You're exactly where it was just before I chose no religion. It does not mean they do not believe in God and pray, and I feel closer to him now than I did. Keep looking, ask for guidance, and find the right path for you.

  9. believer says:

We can never be saved because of what we do, we can only be saved because of what Christ has done for us. Let me explain.
Our biggest problem can be put in a word: sin. Sin separates us from God, and sin also keeps us out of heaven. But how can we get rid of our sins? We can delete them or make them go away by ourselves, we have no power. The only way to get rid of our sins is for someone to come and take them for us.
And that is exactly what Jesus did for us. We are overwhelmed by the burden of our sins, but Jesus took that burden upon himself when he died on the cross for us. To put it another way, it took the punishment we deserve when he went to the cross in our place. The Bible says, "For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring us to God" (1 Peter 3:18).
What should you do? Simply believe that Christ has taken away their sins and then receive Him into your heart and life. The promise of the Bible is for you: "To all who received Him, to them that believe on his name, he gave the right to become children of God" (John 1:12). Become a child of God today by asking Christ into your life.

  11. Gestalt says:

People looking for a relationship with the living God and turn over their lives for it to do what he by his good intentions are what will be united with him forever.
Yes, there is a way of knowing. Start a devoted prayer life in seeking to know God with sincerity and humility.

  12. cavigirl says:

The only reason that is going to hell because they have not accepted Jesus into your heart and because they have not saved it is the only reason God would not let you go to heaven. I mean anyone can go to church every Sunday and may be a good person and do good works, but have not yet been saved and have yet to accept Jesus Christ into their hearts. We hope you understand what I was trying to say and I hope that helps.

I really do not know right? None of us is God, if it exists or not. We must focus on what is morally right for us and make the best of our lives instead of making so many big questions nobody can answer

Religion aside. God did not create religion, but Satan loves the confusion. Our Father God wants you to serve as one.
We also live by its teachings. he is not here to damn anyone or any relief, really wants all to come home, but some refuse to accept that love exists, because God is love and not believing in God is not love.
When the rapture happens people will be with his father, but 7 years on earth will be a great pain and anguish, but also hope for another chance to give your heart to God for the unbelievers.

  22. In God I Trust (a.k.a. infohog) says:

There are several accounts of God to ensure that people in the distant region know about him (eg, Jonah and the whale and the travels of Paul in the New Testament). Jesus also said not all believe in him (Matthew 10:34-39).
Some non-Christian religions have accounts of Jesus Christ, and do not think he is the Son of God our Savior. Other non-Christian religions are created by man alone. When God sent his Son (Jesus Christ) to deliver the message, I think that's the message you put my beliefs.
As for the divisions in the Christian denominations, like everything else, has to maintain what they tell the truth in the Bible and believe what the parties. I suggest that you get your core beliefs in line with the Bible and attend a Christian Church to offer prayer, praise and worship (you're asked to do so little and give so much for God). What remains is how you live your life as a Christian. Some people think that Christians are hypocrites - perhaps, but the truth is we're not perfect, and we are separated from non-believers that we are forgiven through Jesus Christ. In all, strive to live their lives as Christ lived his.
As for good works alone - please do not buy into the idea that you can go to heaven for being a "good person" (Ephesians 2:8-9, below). If "being good" was good enough, then Jesus Christ came from heaven to earth, living among us for over 30 years, was cruelly tortured and killed for nothing. There is "good" in eternity, but you can reach eternity just for being "good." Believe in your heart that Jesus Christ redeemed by dying on the cross for your sins. Again, so simple - and yet, many choose to reject the offer.

  23. scifiguy says:

Only if God is a sadistic bastard, in which case both the wind in hell forever, or spend eternity in the presence of a sadistic bastard. Personally, I'd choose hell.
If God is not sadistic, actually care more about how people treat others in life rather than simply whether or not they follow their religion of choice.

The salvation is biblical. Follow the plan of salvation, and anyone of any religion can make to heaven.

  25. aali_and says:

Allah is the Best of judges and He alone knows the hearts of people. If we stick to what he told us then we'll go to Heaven. Simple. No. We are human and can only try to follow his plan for us.

  26. daljack -a girl says:

My opinion on it is a little weird, but ….
Everyone goes to dance …. but some people choose to wear all white, some blue, some black, some blue, some all pink, etc. …. but all are well and everyone is going to the prom. They just think they look better in a particular color.

  27. SlowClap says:

According to South Park, Mormons go to heaven. And the sky is dorky!
Fretting I know you a little about your immortal soul … is a great idea to think that what could you mess now damn you forever.
But just relax. I do not see how we can trust any religion that says that is the one - a lot of them make that claim, and not everyone can be right. In fact, almost all say that. They are all right, or who are ill, or reason, or reality is right and the rest are wrong … you're in no position to judge that. Nobody is, really.
Do the best you can, find a religion that suits you (if any) and do what we know is right. Of course, you do not always achieve it - nobody's perfect. But only a commitment to personal improvement, and when something feels good, do everything possible to do the right thing. If you do it right the first time, try to get it right next time.
You will only be overwhelmed by the choices and doubt and frustration if they are obsessed with the "right" of the church, the "right" thing to do. You are a work in progress and only have to do my best all the time. You will have much to do only the fulfillment of that!
And make sure not feel responsible for other people's decisions, either. If they do something wrong is their fault, and they face all the consequences that are coming. Life is hard, and we must concentrate on being happy, to make a difference, and finding satisfaction with what you have (and what you make of it.) No one is condemned to eternal suffering, provided they do the best they can - you included.
Have a nice life, Puddin '! Everything will be fine!

  28. Daniel B says:

I disagree that all religions lead to heaven. Jesus says in John 14:6 I am the way, truth and life. No one comes to the Father except through me. That virtually excludes Muhammad, Buddha, atheists (who do not believe at all, etc.
When talking about the different denominations of Christianity, there is only one, and one way to heaven. That's a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Except for the sinner, and put your faith in him and try to live life to walk with him, reading his Bible, and confessing their sins. These other denominations teach that you can save. That is, baptism, giving, making all the sacraments, etc. In Romans, Paul tells us we are saved by faith not by works, lest anyone should boast. That means that by our faith in Christ, not something we can do ourselves. It is ideal for all those other things, but that's not what saves us. Moreover, nowhere in the Bible says to pray to any other, besides, Jesus God. That means we do not pray to Mary, the saints, the Pope, etc. Mary herself, said he was a sinner and need a Savior. Besides, she did not die for our sins, Jesus did.
Unfortunately, I know a lot of good people, but no one is good. For Romans 3:23 tells us that all fall short of the glory of God. So if you do not accept Jesus, we will spend eternity separated from him in hell. All we can do is pray for the people God will soften his heart. We also live by example, which is a testimony in itself. Finally, be ready in season and out of the season to give an answer that God also tells us in scripture.

Depends on whom you ask …
As far as I know, Judaism is the only religion that believes that all good go to heaven regardless of their religious beliefs.
