Actually, this is contrary to the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. This would be considered premarital sex.
People can say whatever they want, however, this does not require you to listen to them.
The Catholic priest is wrong and should be reprimanded for teaching this.
Unless of course you are doing this.

I find it hard to believe that a Catholic priest, I do not care how liberal you would say something like, totally contrary to the teachings of the Catholic Church
I think I misunderstood something, maybe they were very young at the time he said this.
Forgetting that the priest, I feel your "normal" for me and a lot of other bi or curious for same-sex sexual relations.
Do not boast or anything, but I went to bed with a bunch of women and only a handful of guys (no pun intended) and probably the best sex I've ever had was with another man.
I do not think that sex should never be forced, whether hetero sex or gay sex. I believe that sex between two people should always be treated very special, whether it is between a man and a woman, two men, and so on.

Nobody in the world can tell you what to do, but unless that person has real power over you and can make you physically do something, the final decision on what you do will be yours. I suspect that is why they said it would be good "if not forced.
So if you want to have sex with another man, not one of you forcing others, and are above the age of consent, please feel free.

God! A priest should have never told you a thing! I should have said it is okay to have sex with your husband or wife just. I am also a Catholic and went to Catholic school for 9 years. Now I am 77 years old and I am disgusted to hear that a priest, I would say something to someone like that! I suggest you read the Bible!

I'm Catholic, but has yet to observe all the rules. preists gay and now I see coming out and saying its fine.
the preists who molested children were never true Christians in the eyes of the gods. you have to know that.
nobody ever believed that was the result of celebate be. theyu people are sick who took advantage of his position.
uoi can only be what you are and if you have the blessing of a Catholic Preist then consider yourself the luckiest gay Catholic no
