The Vatican feels as Gay Marriage?
The gays can legally marry here in Spain, and a church, but I'm not sure of the Roman Catholic Chruch. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Do you think they ever will also for all the churches? The Pope never say it is kosher?
- The Catholic Church is still against gay marriage?
- Biden will be excommunicated from the Roman Catholic Church for its stance on Abortion and gay marriage?
- What is the process of Catholic marriage annulment?
- If there is any church that accepts gays as official members but not gay marriage or maybe yes?
- Would you rather go to a secular marriage COUNSEL OR A Catholic priest for marriage problems?

There are some churches that have allowed gays to marry RCC, but have been excommunicated. In Canada and other countries that support equal marriage, churches are permitted to refuse to marry gay couples.
I do not think that the RCC will never allow gay marriage. They are notoriously tough, especially in sexual matters.
No, I do not.
No, because it is against his interpretation of the Bible.
I hope not. Although Catholics sometimes use a Bible other than the KJV, I hope they use, says the same, homosexuality is wrong. God said, Jesus said, the Bible says so. It's wrong. Unless the pope is a homosexual in the closet, I do not think it will either gay marriage in the Catholic Church.
Not unless they can earn some money out of it.
rebellious when the Pope is gay
then it's okay for the rest of us
if the Pope is smart he will not always allow. However, the power tends to make more complaints.
Well, if they choose a pope who decides ex-gay coming out, then not accept it.
Such responses Wishy Washy. No, absolutely not.
If by "gay marriage" means same-sex marriage, an oxymoron. Since the world began, God defines marriage as involving one man and one woman, as Jesus says: Therefore shall a man leave his father and mother and cleaves to his wife and the two shall become one flesh.
For those who closely follow the story, the Catholic Church has never changed his view of the teaching of any of Christ. As Jesus told Peter in authorizing its leadership, "The gates of hell shall not prevail against it".
CDF
No.
It's hard to say. If it was in the 13th century, the Vatican had no problem with him, and Catholic churches routinely perform such marriages. Now they deny it ever happened. So who knows?
Edit to Daljack: Many religions and to support gay marriage, and regularly perform weddings.
The problem with married priests is then the parish has to support your spouse as well.
Oh, wait.
Perhaps he meant gay Catholics who are not priests?
I guess there's some of the same.
I do not think the Pope would agree with him, but I think the Pope did not banish it. Heck, if you can accept evolution and agree with it then anything is possible.
Is the Catholic Church says that homosexuality is a grave sin because it is God who said it is an abomination in his design of humanity. If some Canadian churches marry gays, they are definitely not Catholic churches are still ignoring the word of God. There are many more laws that only the 10 Commandments.
No religion will gay marriage is okay ….. as least not for a very very long time.
Maybe after the U.S. government sanctions gay marriage some religions will come around too.
No.
….. Never completely goes against what the word of God is.
I suspect the Vatican one day recognize gay marriage, but it will take a long time and a very progressive pope to make this happen.
We discuss whether they have. See the work of John Boswell.
Never, never, never.
Yes, right after making sure they begin to ordain women priests!
I wonder what the great rabbi of Rome that the Pope would think of trying to do anything kosher!
Not in this lifetime. The Catholic church is very conservative and traditional and legalistic. The good news is that you do not need a bunch of grumpy old priests in medieval robes and pointed hats to run your life.
doubtful.
No, not God.
I doubt it, because that would be contrary to the Word of God.
