The Vatican has blocked the appointment of Caroline Kennedy as U.S. ambassador, according to reports.

The way that the Pope sees as the ambassador of Christ to the world that no one here has a choice. No matter what the Pope thinks, its what has to happen. The problem with Obama is that he thinks everyone and everything is negotiated. For those who do not understand diplomatic relations if Obama can choose who ever he likes as ambassador, but there is no institution anywhere that is required to receive an emissary of any kind. However, another diplomatic disaster that is something that seems to be typical of the Obama administration. Just another example of bad decisions for almost everything. This is in no way intended to reflect directly on Caroline Kennedy. Obama is only normally done the poorest choice for almost everything.
