What is the deal with the Baptists and other Christians (mainly Catholics)?

I'm sick of Baptists are so important to other religions and other denominations, even within their own religion. I mean really how you can be critical when people are dissing their own religion. Did not Jesus tell us not to judge?
Why not just Baptists and Catholics? I'm Catholic and automatically think they know more than me about Catholicism, but Catholicism me. Obviously "know" that the rosary is to the Virgin Mary more than God, and who "know" that I am wrong in saying the Rosary helps us to see Christ through Mary's mind and not put Mary more than God.
Some of my family are Baptist, and I went to their churches and have heard him preach against other denominations! Once, a preacher was talking about how bad you Presbyterians.
At first I thought I was seeing the worst of which are Baptist and Baptist were more good than bad. But then when I went into a larger world, I saw more and more Baptist and realized they were the same as the radicals had seen before. Even some people who I thought were the best people were talking about me and Catholicism behind me as "bad" was one of them said I was going to hell for being Catholic.
I mean what exactly is wrong with being a Catholic or Baptist else?
Sorry for the rant guys, just had to get it out. Tell me your opinion on the subject please!

We Catholics would never say to non-Catholic Christians what they believe, but accept their assertions of their beliefs, but, unlike the Catholic faith, usually no source to verify their beliefs as it is with Catholics, where one can go to catechesis and see exactly what Catholics believe. Therefore, in this modern era of instant information through the computer, there is no excuse if you have a false testimony against the Church of Christ and the faithful. These actions must, if one uses reason, prevarification intentional. There is simply no other explanation, other than laziness. In fact right when he says that one can be Catholic wannabe but probably not the deliberate desire, but the result of drawing Holy Spirit to the Church of Christ and stirring up trouble in your soul disobedient. His fighting spirit tells them to find fault with the Church of Christ, even when it is created in his own imagination, or is apparent that the original church and all that Christ has created is the true Church, with all the promises that Christ gave His Church. Obviously, if there is delivered to these facts, then it would be in the will of God and obedient to the one true God. It seems that ignoring this obvious conclusion is illustrated by their unwillingness to even check out their beliefs about the Catholic Church to know if their imagined faults some accuracy. What will happen, as thousands can testify who have come home to his Church is that he hated and spoke out against is not at all the Catholic Church, but an enemy of his own creation.
The question is asked, "realize the Protestants look to their pastors as we Catholics with our priests" This is a very good question and points to a key difference in the leadership of the Protestant churches, in contrast to Catholic churches. Many times in the Protestant churches there is no supervision of non-denominational churches calls that are becoming so popular. This allows all sorts of false teaching and apostasy. Any minister can teach you everything you want without hindrance. Often the pastors of these churches have no training at all in understanding the Bible and the use of a methodology for proof text in the presentation of their doctrines to their congregations frequently causes errors heretical. Only the congregation has anything resembling oversight, but more often put blind faith in their pastors, really puts them on pedestals representing a man of God. Congregations imagine their pastors to be free from sin and example of justice. This is why there was a scandal when they fail and sinful humanity is revealed. Their churches actually have recourse to the justice of his pastor for his veracity as a church. Since it is a man of the church, where else can that truth and justice come? Therefore, when the Catholic Church teaches that evil exists is nowhere else for these faithful to appeal to the truth as their confidence in their pastor.
We Catholics are our priests and bishops in different ways. The Church teaches that the priest is a servant of the people and the bishop is the chief pastor and delivery of the spiritual needs of the flock through the Sacraments. The priest reminded the congregation of our lack of righteousness, as a person and a child of God, confessing our congregations that we too are sinners in thought, word and deed. If there was a tendency for the congregation to believe that the priest is godlier or have less than a sinful nature that confession should remove all doubt. There is no pretension in a priest to have one that is fairer or less tempted by sin. If a pastor confessed his sins to the congregation, even in a general sense, like the priests who probably would be released from his position. The Catholic Church, of course, receives the righteousness of Christ and the truth of his promises and not the example of men inherently sinful. In the Catholic Church is not necessary or even expected that the priest would be any different than anyone else in the tendency to be tempted into sin. For example, the sacraments are equally valid from a sinful priest, as a most pious priest, because the holiness of the sacraments are the result of Christ's righteousness and not the priest as the priest acts "in persona Christi" where justice can never be doubted.
These fundamental differences are in how the clergy perceived Catholic and Protestant communities, I think because the Protestant pastors are perceived as fair, saints and holy men there is greater opportunity for the false teaching that leads to heresy and apostasy. The congregation is hungry for the Word of God and is often filtered through the unique interpretation of the theology of a man. Because of this is that it is not surprising that there are thousands of different sects within Protestantism schismatic each with its own truth and heresy. Trust only those parishioners have in their pastor, not a church founded by Christ with its promise of accuracy.
      Christ used the vernacular reads:
On this rock I will build my Church speaks to San Pedro.
Christ is the cornerstone and the 12 disciples are the basis
He says that He is with His Church
He says the church will last until the Parousia
He says the church will be free of apostasy
He says that He is with His Church for all time and does so by sending the Holy Spirit to guide the Church and to share his Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity with His Church through His miracle of the Eucharist.
He said that His Church is the "bulwark and foundation of truth."
Can a pastor from making such promises to start his church? Of course, not just promises of Christ are truthfully, regardless of intent or sincerity of any man.
As Catholics we are commanded to love others. We are not only to love those who love us or the Church but also our enemies. This is one of the hardest lessons in all of Scripture, because it goes against our natural tendencies of our being sinful to hate. We are called to pray for these people who hate us and His church and desire the same blessings we receive. But, more importantly, we pray that God will take place and that may come into full communion with the Church by sharing the fullness of faith, worship and truth that Catholics received in his church.

  4. Wolfebla says:

I saw what you are talking in church my sister and I do not understand, either. I've never heard a Catholic priest slam another name from the pulpit, but there has been more times than I can count when a fundamentalist Baptist minister and has slipped in a dig at other groups in his sermon.
It reminds me of the joke about a Catholic who dies and goes to heaven. San Pedro offers to show you everything, and as they are walking down the street, they see a beautiful Catholic cathedral. People are praising God and having a wonderful time at Mass
"See that?" St. Peter smiles. "That's where you'll have to spend eternity."
"Wow!" Catholic smiles. "That will be wonderful! But first, can we see some more of Heaven? "
Presbyterian churches are going along great, a beautiful little Methodist chapel, and a majestic Episcopal Church. Everywhere, people are happy, singing and joy, but as we approach the end of the street, the Catholic sees a big gray building looks bleak.
There are bars on the windows, attack dogs in the front yard and a big "Keep Out!" Enter through the door. The Catholic frowns and becomes San Pedro. "San Pedro, I do not …" starts to say.
"Shhhh !!!!" San Pedro puts a finger to his lips. "That's the Baptist church, and think they are the only ones here."

I do not think that pastors have to say that anyone is destined for hell.
(Unless the words of Jesus or Scripture
showing that it is following the wrong path).
The Holy Bible tells us that you are saved through
their acceptance of Jesus and not through "works",
      (unless they boast man)!
You are "Missing It Big Time" if you miss this point!
(If "Revere" to anyone over Jesus …
No matter if it's Mary, the Pope, a minister, or Billy Graham)!
Nothing and nobody will take the place of Jesus!
(Not on this earth or the earth to come!
We're not going to call the ministers of the faith, "father, rabbi, or the Reverend".
(References to the Scriptures to worship this one but God)!
There is no way to the Father except through Jesus.
(You can directly pray to the Father through Jesus)!
      You are correct.
Jesus does not want to judge others!
But Jesus wants us to hear their times,
(gentle voice and follow his line)!
We will have to discern the things of God!
We will listen to sound doctrine!
We are to obey the guidance of the Holy Spirit!
(No human being can take us, as Father, Son and Holy Spirit)!
In heaven there will be people from all Christian denominations, if:
who love the Lord with all your heart, soul and power!
(These are people who made a total commitment to receive
Christ and his complete willingness to give him)!
We must examine our lives to see if we are living the way God wants us not to keep "traditions of men" over the
      Will of His Majesty, Jesus!

  6. Marie says:

I am a nondenominational Christian. My maternal grandmother was Catholic and my paternal grandmother was a Baptist. Nor was always critical of the other. In fact, both accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior. In my opinion, both were Christians! A Christian is not just a person who decides to follow Christ and accept Jesus as Lord. Both women were pious women. Both loved and lived by Christ, and showed the world the love of Christ through their actions every day. There are disputes between denominations these days too. It is not doctrine, it is about being the light of the world. The Christian church is the body of Christ. We should not be arguing about doctrine. We love one another as Christ loved us.

  7. m185 says:

You are a Christian when you place your faith in Christ as the only Son of God, regardless of denomination or religion.
Baptists the right to teach the Bible. If they are to be criticized, it is because to err on the side of caution most of the time.
Catholics can follow Christ and many of maturity. But Catholics follow the Catholic faith. Catholicism in many ways turns and joins fundamental concepts of the Bible. Add Catholicism to Biblical Canon Apocrypha, the notion of life in any way affect the disposition of the dead in the last sacraments and Purgatory. But most concerned with Christianity is the view that salvation is Catholicisms a vague mixture of faith and works … not only faith. At its foundation, this view suggests that the sacrifice of Christ was not all-sufficient. By contrast, Christians do good works, not to gain more favor with God, but as acts of love and obedience to Jesus. Good works demonstrate a faith that is alive, but not justified in any way change our relationship with God through Christ in one way or another. Christ did it all.

  8. Roman C says:

The most fundamental of the denomination, the ants are more rabid Catholics. Some of them even said they discussed were the original Christians in the Acts. They've done a revisionist history of the Church invented, and they believe it. The Catholic Church is a reality check for them, and they hate us for it. Always explain our faith to us and tell us where we are going badly according to the Bible. Most of them do not even know who wrote the Bible. It's what's with the brothers of people, keep the faith. 9. kishlove says:

I had the same happen to me when I lived in northern Florida. I've noticed that many of the Baptists or living in rural or originally came from rural areas, where people are more intolerant. Not that I have known each Baptist is intolerant, some are very nice. Not all Catholics are tolerant. But I think a lot of Baptists are raised with parents bigoted and even racist, and they use religion as an excuse to hate people. For example, if someone hates, such as Hispanics, who may use religion as an excuse to dislike someone. After all, is more socially acceptable for someone who likes to be convicted of being Hispanic. This may seem an overreaching, but if you look at much of the published literature, when waves of people migrated from countries, mostly Catholic and Ireland in the mid-nineteenth century, you'll notice there's more anti-Catholic books.

  10. Chuck P says:

What did Moses when he descended from the mountain with the commandments and I saw people building and worshiping false idols? Do you judge, or he gets angry with them and throw them pills? When we see someone who call themselves Christians do not act as aa-Christian tells us that point to them so they can correct their ways. Martin Luther tried that with the Catholic church and excommunicated him. They still have not changed their mistakes and ignores what God teaches us to do. They are a great influence in the world and should be setting a better example. I'm not taking either side here, but think about it, do you think God is pleased with the church now?
