What is the proper way to receive communion in a Catholic church?

I will confirm my brothers tomorrow. I have not been to church in a long time. I remember going to the priest, or the Eucharist (sp?) Minister …. but I have to say / do is seriously what I am drawing blank. I do not want to embarrass my family or I am doing something wrong.

    First, you need to go to confession before receiving Communion. It is a great disrespect to receive Communion if they are not in a state of grace. If you are uncomfortable going to confession, can not receive communion. Simply go on line for Communion, and to reach the priest, cross your arms and the priest will give a blessing instead. There is nothing shameful in it and is very common.
      However, if you go to confession, just put your hands out, and the priest gives communion. After he says "The Body of Christ" that is "Amen. It's that easy.

    Here are the simple steps that you should do yourself and to be honest;
      1. Go to the Sacrament of Confession
      2. Partcipate with people on the responses at Mass
      3. Keep in mind that is truly Christ in the Eucharist, and at a time of fellowship, when people will get to join them.
      4.Where the priest or minister of the Eucharist raises the consecrated Host, you simply say: "The Body of Christ", which must respond with "Amen"
      5.Return to his seat and say your thanks.

    If you have not been to church in a long time, it must be confessed. However, you want to receive communion only if you really want to receive Jesus Christ, not only because it is a great family occasion.
      You still can get on your tongue or your hand.

    If as you claim, why do you bother? … Clearly it makes no sense for you … I do not intend … simply refuse to participate … pretending that offend God … The Roman practice is wrong anyway … And the teaching of that religion will not have anyone in Heaven
