Where in my profile I Worship You say Blessed Mother? ?
This is my profile, glued to the sight of all
I am a 25 year old woman, married to the greatest man that I truly love. I am thankful for my family fully supported me through all my efforts, I am truly blessed a person, my life is rich in steadfast love. I am the daughter of Believer, wife and mother. She is a great mother, a great teacher and great friend.
He asks about the Blessed Mother. I asked about being a Catholic. I know a lot, but not all, my parents have instilled a great love of my Blessed Mother and my Catholic faith, for which I am eternally grateful for the hope and give my children. (God willing I complete a bribe!)
I am proud to be a server dedicated to Our Lady, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and to be a traditional Catholic.
I am proud of my profile and not going to change my question to all Christians is where does it say that the cult of the Virgin?
- Worship? Latvia is given to God alone; Dulia pays Hyperdulia saints and the Blessed Virgin Mary.
- Some Catholics may Tell me why a place of worship of Mary Mother of Jesus?
- Why disregard the Blessed Virgin Mary?
- Catholic sect that is the only God Worship Your Mother (primary)?
- Catholics say that Mary worship But what does this sound like?

For ignorance is rampant among those who deny what God has revealed about the Blessed Mother. We do not worship it, no. Do we condemn those that do, yes. Do we have the honor of her, damn Skippy, because hey, was born without sin, gave birth to God in human form … etc, is also respected. If you deny it, you deny the fruit of her womb. It's like denying that the apple of apple wine, you must also deny the descendants of the tree, the apple.
Not so. Being a Catholic I find myself with this. Let me give an answer for other viewers too. Mary and all saints, martyrs, etc., not venerated in the Catholic faith. Saying a prayer to Mary, for example, would ask Mary to also submit your prayer to God on their behalf. In essence, Mary would pray with you God. The same applies to the Martyrs, All Saints, and so on.
Kate, we Catholics have been explaining to our Protestant friends for nearly 500 years. Now that we do not now, nor have I ever worship the Virgin. She is not the tacit 4th member of the Trinity, which is the most favorable for the perfect presentation to the will of God. I do not think that after all these centuries of explanations for the patients who will never be able to make them see the difference. I think the root of the problem is that they interpret the word worship differently than we do. Pax Christi.
I was a Catholic once, so I understand the difference between worship and devotion, and about intercession. If any of these are not part of a particular faith, the adherents of that faith can not have the mentality to appreciate the subtle differences that Catholics see in these concepts.
I wonder why you talk so defensive. N Catholic worship of saints or Mother Mary. We pay tribute to her, but do not worship her. If people feel otherwise, is their choice. We all know the truth. No need to give undue prominence to these people.
Epistle of St. Jude
Chapter 1
10 But these men blaspheme whatever we do not know, and what things soever they know naturally, like dumb animals, which are damaged.
Hi Kate 'I'm going to Lourdes tomorrow
I will pray to our mother, no …. as a deity or god, but as the mother of Christ, who was a human being like us?
She intercedes in our prayers.
[calm] my dear 'stop throwing stones.
Denis xx
People always say that Catholics worship her, I do not think it matters whether or not said.
Amen to that! Great testimony.
Heidi said: She is the unspoken fourth member of the Holy Trinity.
WHAT??
I see the word worship there at all ……. It seems that people are nit pick again. Do not let it get to you Kate, we know what you mean and you want ……….
One could explain this a thousand times and still not be those who will disregard this and launch their attacks against all too pious, just because you're Catholic, I know that sounds harsh, but this is the way it is.
Many non-Catholics are beginning to realize the importance of the Mother of Christ, but most never get to know as Catholics, it is unfortunate and much of his own loss, because if we can identify a fundamental work of Mary is probably to lead all children to Christ, her and our Redeemer.
One thing however is never mentioned is that if the Catholics to honor Mary as we do, how much more we give glory and worship of God, it seems to go over the heads of those who are deliberately biased and insulting Catholics Christians.
Perhaps it would do such a good thing for people to read and soak in the powerful words of the Apostle James in the taming of the evil tongue (James 3)
God bless.
Kate forget about the defense of his love and admiration of the beautiful
Mother of our Lord, is not a human condition is seeking approval only of himself and sees only what the ego permits, this is the case of the blind to the truth.
Kate Scripture is clear in stating that we all become one in him, we are the bride of Christ, must become one as in the example that Jesus gave of marriage, when two are joined in marriage shall be one flesh and is one. Now the Holy Trinity revealed in the nature of God and how things will be, This is what many people miss in scripture. It is like this Mary has become the first to marry the Holy Spirit, for it has the same attributes as Jesus, who became the perfect will of God and throughout his life with her husband was faithful to the Holy Spirit. This only gave the highest position in heaven and no one came to our beloved mother in humility and acceptance of his will, it is among women who choose God and his grace was obedient to the slightest movement of his will, she never did sin not once in his life and, as his son who bore his suffering in obedience, as God could have called for nothing and it was granted to any request of God can not refuse on its own not law.But saw and knew that her will and suffered more than any other person has suffered, as were his eyes and his heart just saw in the Cross of our Creator and God, everyone saw a man.
Kate is worthy of honor and devotion like no one has taught us how to love and how to be obedient to him.
So we ask that the eyes of a day off, for when we will see who is our Mother who defends us before His throne, and his eyes are what holds back the wrath of God, has carried her pain and is a constant prayer before his son, his father and his spouse.
One last thing, Jesus is the mediator for us, and Mary is the intercessor, the difference is that Jesus has done its work and sacrifice and blood standing before God and covers over our sins,
Intercession is to defend our cause! Very different, or we as Protestants think that Jesus prayed to the Father? This is not right as written for a time put aside his divinity and equality of assuming human form, so now he's back and that equality does not need to appear before his match, which presented only for a time as a man, but now he is God. Thank God that the Church has given his Spirit to guide us in these basic truths.
So you and I will follow the Scripture and say, Blessed art thou among women.
God bless Kate.
KATE (PRAY FOR A CHILD heathy)
We must take a step back when attacked here in yahoo as I did, because of trolls and people who have made their mind alrerady formed in a person from a group they belong too.
I personally know many Catholics who exaggerate their commitment to Mary, to the point of worship and that makes us away from God.
I think one of the smartest Christians Catholics here that you know the difference and can use its affliation church to honor God and Jesus in the form or the traditional beliefs of the church.
I personally see nothing wrong with that though!
However, in the church came by to see so many use to worship Jesus as a way to get people through the doors and promote something that God and Jesus is an abomination. For example, the Church of the Latter-day Saints.
I, myself do not place the label says a person who goes to any church just because they say they belong. I myself have not been to my church for more than a month to make the schedule change at work.
Yet still continue to tithe and Bible studies group, but not the absence of makes me less of a Christian, NOT!
Nor will a church makes one a Christian. A building is not what one is, is what is in his heart.
For my part, I know that you are a fellow sister in Christ, and that my friend is the label that should be proud to wear. No matter what you go to church!
Chers, Huggs, hopes and prayers!
GOD BLESS!
For what it's worth, if you tell me who do not worship Mary, I think.
You have to understand, however, that attention to the Catholic Mary is a big obstacle for a lot of people. Personally, I think it is mainly a conditioned response, a sort of Puritan heritage that is difficult to discard. Some people are afraid that it takes something out of it is due to Christ, and others consider a statement like "server dedicated to Our Lady" and immediately think "choose this day who you will .. . me and my household, we will serve the Lord "and get all wrapped up in knots about it.
Someone (I think it was a Catholic here, in fact) called a few days ago about the commandment "Honor thy father and thy mother" in the context of a father who might have been, well, not the greatest. I replied that honor because it was through them that we have received life, and home feelings of anger and resentment was like telling God that He has made a mistake in the choice that parents in particular to give us life. Well, you could certainly apply here, in which swords, because apart from Mary brush would like telling God that his choice of a mother through which Jesus embodied was not important. I think it was very important and deserves honor and respect Mary, do not you think Jesus honored and respected her, besides love?
This will always be a dividing point, however, between Catholics and Orthodox on the one hand, and some Protestants * * on the other. Basically, if admitted, they stand in this thing of Mary, to remain separate from Catholics, because if they admit that the Church is right in this, then there is not much aware of any substance at all that different about. For some who have bet a little of themselves in the moment of "right", which is quite threatening.
Hey, you know who you worship. That's what matters. Do not let these guys with the "who worship Mary, who bow before idols …" things get you down, is a small, fearful that the mind can not develop and appreciate all that Christ has given, and that includes his mother's specialty.
Added: I asked a Q on the rosary and would appreciate any knowledge of Catholics here: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index …
The commands us to "Honor thy father and thy mother"
Mary of Nazareth is my mother because she is the mother of my brother and Lord, Jesus of Nazareth, God (which is true and real man) and the mother of the Family of Jesus, in which I took as a Christian
Mary is a human being who needs Christ as their savior, the One Mediator, High Priest and sacrifice as much as anyone, and asserts that Catholicism. Believing that Mary was conceived without original sin to the integrity and purity of Christ does not change or compromise the above
If I take Jesus as my Lord and Savior, then take Mary as my personal mother, model and prayer-partner in the Mystical Body of Christ
Therefore, I honor Mary, but I worship only God, the Trinity.
As a Catholic Christian, I do not worship anybody but the only eternal, infinite, and Ultimate, which is God the Creator
Some people can not make a big difference between worship and show respect and honor. Because I will ask someone to pray to God for me and not to say that I adore that person or setting aside Christ as sole mediator with the Father in the Spirit.
There are worshiping (with the worship of latria) Mary nor given any indication that you're just gives his reverence (honor and respect) or time (Repect) and dulia (honor) and one should give hyperdulia Mary ' "(above the veneration of a brother in Christ) as the mother of the family of Jesus, the communion of saints or the Mystical Body of Christ.
If you want to know what the Catholic Church teaches about Mary, you should Google Catechism of the Catholic Church # 963-975 and read
Some people prefer their convictions and misrepresentations of the facts presented by others taken from primary sources.
Or serve someone is not to worship Christ as the demands we serve each other.
Mariolatry heresies (and all other idolatry) and Mariachristism, "giving the divine attributes of Mary and the role of Christ as the way to the Father and Savior, the only Mediator and Redeemer, are condemned by the Church Catholic
Thus, Mary could be a fourth member of the Trinity (which in any case, would then be a Quadrinity and not a Trinity)
Kate, your contacts who are not. With all due respect, we have all tried to explain our position about a million times our reverence for the Virgin, in the hope of getting to our Y! To friends. Your profile is wonderful … there is nothing to indicate that worship anyone other than our Lord.
If you can not handle, that's a personal problem (for them). I am saddened by the teachings of the Catholic Church irreverent. Moreover, this is nothing new.
Moreover, the Church of the early centuries of devotion to the Blessed Virgin, a sign of a proper understanding of the Incarnation and a lifetime of devotion to Jesus Christ. It may not be those who honor Mary, but those who neglect which is distorting the historic faith. The disgrace that Mary must pay attention to who writes Epiphanius also from the fourth century that "what we dishonor the sacred vessel [Mary] also dishonors his Master" (cited by L. Gambero in Mary and the Fathers of the Church [ Ignatius Press, 1999], p. 127).
Peace to you sister.
Add:
"According to Matthew 5:8, the" immaculate heart "is a heart with the grace of God has come to perfect interior unity and therefore" sees God. "Being" dedicated "to the Immaculate Heart of Mary means therefore to embrace this attitude of heart, which makes the Fiat -" Thy will done'-the center of the definition of life. One might object that there is no place for a human being between ourselves and Christ. But then we remember that Paul did not hesitate to say to his communities: "imitate me" (1 Cor. 4:16, Phil. 3:17, 1 Thes. 1:6, 2 Thess. 3:7, 9) "(op. cit.).
Add: There is nothing as cute as the butt of a complete tracking of flying across the room! I will pray for a healthy baby.
Some people believe that Catholics worship Our Lady, the Blessed Virgin Mary "instead of seeing through the intermediary of God and the Christ who taught us. She is the unspoken fourth member of the Holy Trinity.
Well "servant" and "cult" are pretty damn close in my book.
