Why do not you ask God?
I have a friend who is Catholic and she can not seem to explain to me why Catholics ask or pray to the Virgin Mary to get in touch with God. In John 14:6 Jesus says clearly: "I am the way, truth and life. No one comes to the Father except through me ".
So why go to Mary when he could only pray to Jesus himself. Does your blessing comes from Mary or Jesus?
It's like they are giving the mother of Maria de Jesus power over him. God has all power.

I was expelled from the Catholic preschool.
But I do know is this.
We're supposed to pray to Jesus, because he was (Lord God) avatar in the human form.
Presumably God is a different size considerations of what is human.
Therefore, Jesus was sent to earth to mediate for the fears of man to God's will. Jesus was not directly supposed to be the same God in the flesh, but one that was partially Devine itself and deadly when he would communicate the folly of man to God and tolerate the man's confession and the man a scapegoat for their imperfections so that God could still conceive.
Jesus is supposed to be the intermediary to the sky in all forms of Christianity I know. God is something I respect and fear. God is something we can not appoint a judge, or even begin to think that we can understand his will.
Jesus is our representative for Devine.
When it comes to pray to Mary?
That's another hypocrisy of the Catholic Church because its really not a monotheism, because we created so many other deities just as Mary and the saints and even called Angels. It is the most nonsense. Your mans mans perversion and desire to create heaven on his own ideal. Thus the images. And the assumption that energy beings Devine are somehow related to their previous state in the afterlife. Its all a pathetic farce.
All that really is right in my opinion is that we should fear and ultimately respect for God. If we believe the slight possibility that there may be a destination in other planes of existence or whatever after checking out of this world is very sentimental and almost anyone can buy or have a sincere desire to do so. But still, I just cannot buy when words supposedly Downs Devine practice of Catholics have been generated in religeons other on the last hundred years that really just cannot buy any of that at all.
I say fear of God and leave it at that.
Well, the idea here is to pray for someone to speak on his behalf. As the holy mother should have some influence in the on-coming down from heaven, then, if you pray to it, you'll see that these needs are met. Something like how to call the mother of his boss, to get a raise.
I personally do not agree with this logic, but to each his own.

You're right, we go to Jesus directly. See 2 Tim 2:5 "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." So when you go to God that no man or any other name that stands between you and God. I hope this is helpful to you. God bless you.
Coz if Jesus is a righteous person (which everyone thinks it is), then he would tender his mother. So the prayer to the Virgin Mary is the way Reachin Jesus and then to God.
I have not read the whole Bible, but on the basis of our own practices (which in a family of Roman Catholics), or praying to the Virgin Mary, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the saints, and even directly to Our Father .. . therefore, "The Lord's Prayer" … we pray the "Our Father" and ask him to forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.
Do not worship Mary. Respect e.e Mary and show their respect.
A large number of non-Catholics think that because we pray to saints and ask them to pray to God for us, we can not pray directly to God. For them, or pray to Mary and the saints you pray to God.
Why not do both?
We pray directly to God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit). Also, we ask Mary and the saints to pray for us as we pray to God.
All our blessings come from God. We do not give Mary or any power over the saints of God.

The Bible teaches that we pray for each other and that the prayers of a "righteous man avails much." So the Catholic believer asks the saints to pray on their behalf.

I've been trying to say that my grandmother … she died two years ago … boy i pray for his soul … came from the sightings of the Virgin Mary that appeared in italics or something to that … many years ago … everyone knows the story where the three children saw her … and she spoke with them many times …. So I believe that praying with her for her forgiveness therefore, it is she who came to earth to warn Abou el final. I guess when they say that the last child dies … two have already gone … then begin …. this girl is about 80ish today.
I see that in this world there are many breeds r ……….. religions … everbody prays to his god, but …………….. God is One ……….. cogens the differnce is that people gave HAV certain names but rest assured that God is one …. I do not know if I'm related to ur question .. …… but thats all i know ……………….
Prayer is one-sided conversation.
Different religions different things. Why do people pray to Mary, when they could pray to Jesus? Why do people pray to Jesus if they could pray to God? Why do people pray to God, when supposedly already know what you're thinking?

For the person who says it is idolatry … wrong. Idolatry is when you do not worship God, but the worship of his new TV, its expensive luxury car, his summer home in a resort, etc, etc. .. material things to get ahead of things spiritual.
