Catholics do not pray to saints is the same as asking his congregation to pray for you, prayer circles, or ask your pastor for help. images serve as reminders not to be worshiped, but some ycan be implemented to help our worship of God we worship alone. Why Protestants are still so ignorant on the matter, the Catholic answer to this question on an almost 24-7, does anyone really take the time to read our responses or use Catholic sources to see what we do, we believe and teach? http://www.scripturecatholic.com/index.h ... This site covers the prayer to the saints and misconceptions you may have.

He did not worship idols. They are paying homage to the statues. Before criticizing the faith of others, please do some research about their religion and beliefs. It is extremely important in this age when we must exercise wisdom and tolerance among ourselves and not blindly believe a book of old age or other preachers who condemn. Accept that not everyone is the same. Then everyone will live in a better world.

Well, for starters, is misuse of the word "statue". If they worship a statue, an idol. So you're saying is redundant "cult statues" and "Heroes." Secondly, there are no statues of Catholic worship. N Catholic worship other than God Almighty. This was excommunicated from the Catholic Church. Prayer is not to worship. By praying with Mary or the saints, which is "like God" as you claim. Only request is made to Mary or the saints to pray to God on their behalf. The use of a charm is not to worship, there are charms anyway. All bow and use of candles and incense burning and not the same as worship. It often makes sense for someone who is worshiped, but not so for Catholics. Worship is purely internal. Many things can be seen as bowing outward signs of worship, but they are not religious themselves, and thus one can not assume that someone is educated when you see them waving (and such). Furthermore, religion can not be done by accident. For something to be truly religious, one must intend to be worship. No Catholic has the right intention to worship none but God, so by default, not suitable Catholic worship anyone but God.

Not that it (repeated wearily). They ask Mary and the saints intercede on their behalf with God. Do not pray to them as if they are gods! The statues are just a reminder. And I'm not even Catholic!
