If homosexuality is wrong and a sin, how Preists get away with being so effeminate.
- Why are so many Catholic priests and Protestant Christan So obviously gay.
- How is the assumption of guilt in regard to Catholic priests today, other then the Salem Witch Trials?
- Is it true that Catholic priests are more educated than the Protestant pastors?
- Catholic or Protestant?

For centuries, the only safe haven for homosexuals was the priesthood, in which no one would doubt his desire not to marry and be housed with other like minded men. The fact that homosexuality does not carry the stigma it once did is why the priesthood is having an inability to recruit enough priests to carry out the fraud that is religion.
1 Do not think it respectful to call priests "feminine".
2. Some gay priests use the church as an easy way of dealing with the underlying problem of sexual orientation
3. Gay men are usually very loving and kind
4. This issue is too sweeping a statement and has no views of the issues of sexuality and Sprituality
"To be girly is not a sin"
In fact, the Bible condemns effeminate men, if you take it literally.
Being gay not a sin but does not hurt either. The Bible defines only the acts of sodomy, sex (anal), fornication (sex before marriage), adultery (cheating). Both gay and straight people can be guilty of these, but people choose to only point out the sodomy and fornication gay because they are a minority.
Thay and will not let the gays have gay Marage a bit of double standards not
Today, religious leaders tickle the ears of people saying that sex outside of marriage may be acceptable to God. Other condone homosexual acts.
In fact, some clerics are themselves actively homosexual.
An article in the British newspaper The Times noted that "thirteen openly gay clergy" have been elected to the General Synod of the Church of England.
When church leaders to abandon the Bible and its moral churches do little about it, what rules should make their parishioners? No wonder that millions of people are totally confused.
Homosexuality is not bad. Homosexual activity is a sin, but then also sin heterosexuals (eg if you have more than one sexual partner in her lifetime). Every sin can be forgiven (except one) .. Christianity welcomes everyone because God sent Jesus to give everyone a way to Eternal Life.
Who cares? God loves everyone! Gays too!
They join the priests to conceal their sexuality.
Have been educated in the belief that homosexuality is a sin, so rather than live openly as gays become 'celibate priests to hide the fact that they want relationships with women.
No doubt there are some gay clergy, but may in some cases, blends the characteristics of meekness, humility and personal sensitivity, which are common features of all the clergy well, for homosexuality.
Short of finding direct evidence, we have no choice but to be charitable and non-judgmental in these cases.
Otherwise, we will have another "witch hunt".
And certainly no sin in that homosexual tendencies … sin granted only when they act on those trends.
I do not think there is much that does not happen with Protestants, Catholics as its not normal for a man to have sex, perhaps it will be cut away and let them marry would change over the children .
Oh, by the way im a minister and instant messaging on my second wife happily married and a great sex life.
Praise God
I do not think there are as many as you think.
Catholic parents tried to hide their gay children in the priesthood, it is common knowledge.
I really think that priests are being judged, without knowing them (the judge only if you want to be judged). However, having said that, I think you're confused about the situation here. For example, say there is a gay man anywhere, and not necessarily in the priesthood. If that man does not engage in all homosexual acts being committed no sin. So, priests have taken an oath to take a step back from sex and so on, so they being gay is not a problem.
However, I disagree with the view of the church and they should not view homosexuality as wrong and sinful, they need to catch up and move with the times.
You did not mention the leaders of the Boy Scouts, gym teachers, senators, governors and sailors.
They must have broken their vows to be celibate. Such sinful behavior comes with a dirty mind, evil spirits and temptation is strong against ignorance.
These people in these vocations, must first learn the pleasures of the body is never to promise spiritual takeover.
Other scientists who must abandon his vocation, to avoid humiliation for themselves.
Although I am not a Christian, I believe this is a generalization.
God created that way unfortunately. Nobody `s perfect are they? Except the Almighty, of course!
I do not know that there are more gays in the clergy than in the
humanity in general. But often I have felt so sexual
leads to repression abberated types of sexual indulgence.
Can you list your sources?
hey i didn't knw that!
How do you know that. Did you personally go around and ask everyone? You are in dire need of education
Catholicism seems to attract or produce both gay men and lesbians. I have not seen any numbers on it, but I feel they are superior to those of the general population (although not as dramatically).
I see that in the Protestant denominations, however, and I'm not sure where you're getting the idea.
As for "getting away" with him, I think that Catholics are somewhat more concerned about their problem of pedophilia. Moreover, the Catholic Church has some excellent practical problems effectively swept under the carpet. Any large institution needs such practices if they persist in the long term, and of course the Catholic Church is the model of "large and persistent". If possible go with something, they will.
To be girly is not a sin, maybe all of them are virgins, just a bit field.
I do not think all priests are, but those who are, believe that joining the priesthood to try to overcome these desires.
What other man would choose a life of celibacy?
