When married by a judge Is the Catholic Church recognizes this and does a priest have to do it twice?

I was recently married in court and a friend said that as a Catholic, I am considered married in the Catholic church and still have to pass before a priest for my marriage recognized by the Catholic Church. also my husband is not Catholic. Related posts:
