I have known several women named Mary Catholic.   Seriously, I've never heard anyone call her son Jesus, Mary and her daughter, unless your name was Mary. Related posts:

I mean, Catholics insist that Mary remained a virgin throughout her life and that "Jesus, brothers and sisters" mentioned in the Gospels were Joseph's children by another woman.   In that case, how would that work? I am so curious and totally bewildered by most of these Catholic practices. I thank everyone who answered my previous question about Mary, I'm curious as to how they originated the practice. Go to Catholic confession, telling all their sins and is forgiven and all you have to do is say a few prayers.
