In reference to idols, when Jesus said we are not making idols, he was talking to those who were
accustomed to idols and images, drawn from the (Egyptian) who prayed to the image itself, Catholics do not pray to the statue of cement, pray to who represents, in the case of Jesus, Mary, Joseph, or any other saint. Cannot understand, or are you too imbued with Catholic misinformation?
What, pray to the saints? The Bible directs us to invoke those in heaven and ask them to pray with us.
