Can a Protestant (who wants to be Catholic) believe in transubstantiation Catholic receive communion?

A question for Catholics … on transubstantiation / Real Presence?

As Catholics, who believe in the Real Presence in the Eucharist.   My question is how do you come to believe that the bread and wine into flesh and blood of Christ?
